Policeman's athletic fund - caller I'd is "VOIP caller"

Got a call Sunday night. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Suburban Chicago area caller.  Caller ID "VOIP caller".  Didn't answer it and they left no message

ID says VOIP Caller. Shawn asking to speak with my wife, by name. He said he was from Vietnam Veterans Now. I hung up. This is from a call center hired by another BS charity. The IRS needs to stop giving exempt charity status to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Maybe Congress needs to tighten the restrictions. It's sad that all of these fake charities exist. Now, I only donate to a very few select charities and only after receiving their information by mail, never over the phone.

We gave to one charity once. That opened up the flood gates of phone solicitations.

I'm sick of these guys, they  ask for you by name , when you ask who and what they are they get snotty, really?  these vet charities and police this and that are not  doing themselves a favour by harassing citizens.  Like, Greg:  i give the the charities I believe in.

Call received on a Sunday night.  Left no message.  We don't answer callers we don't know.

Called Sunday around 11 AM. Caller ID said Glen Ellen. I didn't answer and of course they didn't leave a message. These spammers been around awhile.

Caller id said "VOIP".  Didn't answer. No message left.

CID showed VOIP Caller. I turned off my voice mail so it won't pick up after the 6th ring to verify our number is valid. The call cut off after 10 rings.

Asked to speak to my husband by name.
I responded "May I ask who's calling"
He said, "Jason."
I said "Why are you using this number?"
He asked, "Are you screening this call"
As soon as I said, "Yes," he hung up.
