I am trying to find out that same question. Whoever it is was rude to my son. So now I would really like to find out who this number belongs to.

Claimed to be some police booster org...

Called us at home over the lunch hour, but hung up when I answered.

Everytime I try to call it back, I get an automated recording that says "it's unavailable at this time - leave your message at the tone"  Have to assume it's unimportant.

He was SUPER rude to me as well.  He was seeking donations "for law enforcement" and would not explain what that meant.  He told me he would send me some info but that for now he would put me down for only ten dollars.  He does not seem legitimate at all.  He got mad at me and hung up on me when I said I was not donating anything until I knew more information.

caller thanked me for my past donation to police something or other and wanted to know if they could count on me again this year for a pledge---
I told them to send me information in the mail and he wanted to know if I still lived at ( my correct address )--I confirmed & he said I would get a form.
This call came on Sunday evening,5/17 at 7:42PM.
I do not live in the same county as Oak Brook but same state.
When I call back I get a message "can not getb your call but leave your # and we will get back "---sounds phony to me!

Asking for donations.....where do I report this to have them stopped?
Don't want older people to be scammed.

They have called before and I say no and just hang up before they
give me a bad time.

Had problem about a year ago, left message on answering machine, and then did not hang up. Recorded profanity and men talking in background.  Called and complained then, STILL getting calls.

This number calls occasionally & always hangup when we answer - we aren't in the same area code.  I called the number back & got the same 'Leave message' bs as reported above.  This is completely annoying.

I received a call from this numberaround 316pm on 6/3/09 and when I answered hello they hung up.

this number called, but we werent home. When I called back I got same message others received.. This extension is not available please leave a message.... BLAH!!

Have received multiple hangup calls from this number.  When I attempted to activate a return call via *69, got a message that this number has activated call screening and is not accepting incoming calls at this time.

Complain on-line with Lisa Madigan's office.  I've had this happen before with another company and her office ceased all calls from this company to my home number.

this number called at 12:45pm and hung up on me as soon as i answered.  The number shows up on caller ID, but just says Unknown Caller.  I can't stand annoying calls like this.  I tried to call the number back using my cell phone and I got a recording that I could leave a message after the tone, but immediately after stating this it said their message mailbox was full and could not receive more messages.
