No one would say anything!

message says someone you know entered your name into draw at either a Canadian tire, Zellers or Home outfitters and you have won 1,600 towards a cancun trip - press 1 to enter to claim your prize.

I pressed it to get their info to tell them to stop calling and I am on the no-call list.- so I could report them.  No one ever answered, it rang and rang and finally a message saying "that function is not permitted" then a hang up.

Just received a call from this number with the usual Canadian Tire/etc etc offering 1600 off a Mexico vacation - get this call frequently but always from different numbers - last time was from an Alberta area code; this one is from an Illinois one. Same scammers just moving the operation around?

didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message - scam for sure. Why call if your not going to leave a message?

I continue to receive calls (various numbers) from someone in Illinois area.  They call all the time, but never leave a message on my answering machine.  I do not answer the calls because I do not know anyone who lives in this area.  I just want these people, whoever they are, to stop calling.
