No clue who called my DNC registered landline. Called on 06/25/2014, 05:23 PM from Orient, NY. No message was left.

Called on 06/27/2014, 9 AM. No message was left.

calle my landline, left message asking for the, "man or woman of the house".  weird hillbilly accent.  call to Manhattan.

Repeated calls from this Orient NY number NO messages left. I called the number and got a recorded message form a "non-profit company, no name, This is Saturday morning at 8:30. Seemed to be political in nature giving hours it was open. That is  all I found out.

Called from Orient, NY, 06/28/2014 at 8:41AM on a Saturday. This alone makes the call illegal! I'm on both NYS and the federal DNC lists. No message was left.
I *67'ed the caller. A message comes on about reaching a non profit and how non profits have to help when government is unable. No where in the message is the name of the non profit mentioned.
If this weren't a scam, the non profits name would be stated. This is a scam!

I got a call from Orient NY asking for my wife by first name. I told the man that she had gone out. He said "well, there is no message. We'll call back at a later time." and he hung up.

When you answer a call, from a number you do not know, and they ask for Mr/Mrs So-and-so. The first words out of your mouth should be 'Who is calling please?' The 'please' is optional, and for 5 seconds we'll be nice. Also, on a call where they try to get you to say the word 'yes' (for cut & paste audio purposes) thumb through your thesaurus for alternatives.

Recieved a call from the number 631-323-5110. They asked for my mother, by her first name, I asked who what is was regarding, he then asked for the Mr/Mrs of the household. I told them him they weren't accessible at the moment. Then he said, We'll call back on a later date. I responded, "Don't."

No message left. All the info I have is Orient. Thanks for providing this look-up service. Now I know the call was either from a solicitor or a scammer.

These scumbags will learn that I do notanswer calls fron number I don't know and I do not have an answer machine.

They left voice my asking for my mom. She has been gone for some time now. DANG IT!!!

they called asked for husband by name, said they were state trooper....I hung up immed as state troopers do not call for solicitations  and its not local although it says on caller ID local call area

our phone # is unlisted.   We are on the DNC list, NYS.   Caller ID said "orient NY".   I hope some government agency can bust this scam wide open.   Sick of these scumbags trying to dupe money out of hard working citizens......they need to be caught, prosecuted and mega-fined.   Don't answer calls you don't know...don't even talk to them...you don't have any idea of how badly they can drain you of your hard earned money!!!

This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1022 asking for "James."  I informed the guy that there is no "James" at this number.  He apologized and said he would update their records.  I suspect he may have been looking for my brother-in-law and, if that's the case, it might be a bill collector.  

Said Local Call Area   Called 12:05 PM  10/03/2014   Left no message.  Did not know number.  Did not answer!

Some jacka$$ claiming to represent the "state troopers" asking for my wife by name.
Told him she wasn't available and he said I could help him and I told him I couldn't. He wouldn't shut up so I calmly told him goodbye and hung up.
No name on caller ID.
Obviously a predatory scumbag trying to scam people.

Three calls from these clowns now.  They ask for me by name, I ask "who is calling please."  Then they hang up.
