I was called on March 13, 2015 and was told through a message that I owed money and committed fraud and that police officers were coming to my home to arrest me soon.  When I called back to see what or who they were, they claimed they worked for the IRS and that I owed money and that police officers were coming to my door.
I am very upset, of course and would like something to be done to people who do this sort of thing.  They seemed to know my first name and this was my cell# so I would like to find out if there is anything I can do about this.

i had a call stating the same, however im so behind ,I thought for sure this is real. u cannot call the number back. im sure its crap!

I have received this call a couple of different times. When I hear a voice automation telling me that I'm going to be arrested for fraud and I need to leave my place of work to call them it's hard to take seriously. 1. Would make more sense with a live person. 2. Haven't ever committed fraud in my life. I work for a living thanks!

I was called on March 17, 2015 and was told by an Indian accented woman that I owed money and had committed fraud and that police officers were coming to my home to arrest me soon.  When I questioned her about her claim she stated she worked for the IRS.  When I questioned her further, she hung up and blocked my number from calling her back.  So I called from another line and they still claimed they worked for the IRS and that I owed money and that police officers were coming to my door.  When we questioned the Indian accented woman about working with the IRS she busted out laughing and hung up on us.  Hope those officers show up soon.  Blocked the calling number on all my phones and phone lines.

They call me several times a day...I'm getting sick of it so I just answer and demand they take me off their calling list. They hang up. So now it's on!!!! I'm going to start messing with them and see how they like it!!!

I was called today (March 17, 2015) and was told by an East Indian accent woman that I was going to be arrested within a half an hour.
If you are called by these low life piece of s**t people, do not fall for their threats. It is a total scam!!!! Contact your local FBI agent in your town.  Hopefully they can track them down and arrest them.

Automated call. Crap software kept breaking up the call. I was all set to have fun with them then the call ended. If they are going g to prank do it better than I give it 0 stars.

I was called this morning right before I was leaving for work. They threatened me that the police were coming to arrest me and read me an affadavid. First it was an indian woman, than she put her "supervisor"on the phone an indian man. They had me freaked out. I had not heard of this scam yet. They had my my address, name , and of coarse phone number. They tried to tell me that I owed over a thousand dollars to the irs because of taxes. Kept threatening to hang up on me and telling me that the police were coming to arrest me if they did. And that I would go to jail, and lose my job, and would ruin my credit and owe even mare money and not be able the apply for any loans after I got out of jail. When I had calmed down and started to think clear I googled the number I called and found this. These people owe me money I was late for work over this. These people are horrible, this is a scam. I hope these people are caught and go to jail.

AND if these AH's call you again, DO NOT answer the phone!

I received phone call and I called back because I thought it was my friend calling. A man with an Indian accent answered and said I was a criminal suspect in IRS case. If I didn't answer his questions he would have the police at my door and arrest me.

I just got a call from this number 30min.Saying I was to leave my job I'm a bribery suspect isomething to do with department of treasury.I bout cramped on my self.when I called back to question them they hung up.what the hell.something needs to be done bout these people

Was left a message; something about fraud that was committed. I needed to drop everything and call them immediately. Googled it. I have it on my voice mail. Stupid to leave a message like that.

Yeap they called me today march 19th 2015..automated call..breaking up...to call back in 72 hours or cops coming and attorney general going to charge me with fraud (thought it was serious but then realized I'm the one that gets finacial screwed over by people..and its not me doing the fraud) but these calls are funny at all...very upsetting when you dont know whats wrong or going on...

Just call the number back and tell them the FBI has their number now, you will never get thru to them again and they will not call you anymore either.

I received a message today March 20, 2015 threatening me, told me to drop everything And call them back. I only had part of the message on my machine, I called and an Indian woman asked if I had legal representation as I have been part of a fraud case. I cut her off and stated I'm reporting you to the police, I said it twice, she said okay, okay and hung up. I spoke with local police who stated don't give out any information and that the FBI is working on it. Came home from work and there's another call from them!

The IRS/Treasury Dept is not calling. This is an overseas scam.

I got an automated message from this number, and they threatened to send the police to my door. I called them back and went off! I told them that I don't appreciate ANYBODY calling my phone and threatening me. The lady with an Indian accent hung up on me, and when I called back, no one answered. I plan to call THEM and let THEM know that I have contacted the authorities.

It is a good thing I just got the voicemail message ten days later otherwise I would have fallen for the scam. I tried to call back but couldn't get through and thought something was wrong with my phone, so I called a friend and the call went through. I was worried bout the threatening voicemail, so I Googled the phone number. You guys are lifesavers.

Person called my 84 year old father in law.  Threatened him that the Irs was owed money and told him police were coming to arrest him
