VoiP number, which is the first red flag. They left a voicemail saying I got approved for a payday loan I did not apply for. Blocked this number, suggest you do the same.

Got A call Saying that I was approved for a Payday loan which I did not apply for

Received a call today about a loan that was approved. I did not apply for any loan and am tired of getting calls like this. Thank goodness my voice mail answered this phony call.

Automated call about a payday loan.  I've read so much about these but I think it's the first time I've received one of the payday loan scams.  Can't help but feel like I've been accepted into a special club!  Seriously though, it was a robo call that just kept going and going and going and as I took the phone off my ear I could hear him going as I was searching for the disconnect button.

There are all kinds of pay day loan scams. In fact some of the characters that work for these operations actually post comments trying to make the calls sound legitimate. They will even accuse people of owing money.
My mom has been dealing with all kinds of calls. However she has yet to receive one of these.
