This number keeps calling my cell phone and they dont leave a message. I just filled out a form for applying for health insurance and this may be them calling, but they never leave a message and they just keep calling my cell over and over.

I think it's a health insurance company. They call and don't leave a message.

Received a call form this number on 10/17/2007 @ 10:54 AM on my Vonage home phone.
Caller did not leave message.
Used some FREE Detective web site to locate the Area Code
631 and prefix 465.  The search revealed that the caller was a commercial caller type CLCD.  The prefix indicated that the caller was in Farmingdale, New York.

I suspect this caller is doing some kind of telephone solicitation.  The reason for my assumption is that I have continued to receive telephone solicitations even though I added my number to the NYS Do Not Call list.  Adding my
home phone number to that list was a waste of time.

Oh yes be careful.  Same thing happened to me today.  He tried to get my bank account information.  I just reported it to the FBI.  So much for a health insurance quote.

same thing as first post - no message.  This is just a few minutes after I submitted a request for health insurance quote online (blue cross blue shield).

I had a call this morning asking for a Michelle Rogers.  

I had one the day before from a 1-800-646-1606 for a health insurance quote from the same person.

they keep calling my cell. I filled out a health insurance form also. they're starting to bothering me! can somebody please do anything against them??

I filled out the health insurance quote a few hours ago.  Bummer... now I gotta pick up the phone and tell these guys to go away. "DON'T CALL ME. I'LL CALL YOU.  I WANTED A QUOTE, NOT A SALES PITCH.  BYEEEE"

I just did the same thing.  I think you're right.  How irritating is that?

I too filled out the health insurance quote online. I just x'd off the page and my cell was ringing. (I didn't answer it though)  they did leave a message to call them back that they had a quote for my health insurance.  In the last hour I had 4 back to back calls from 4 different people. Here are the 4 different numbers..817-594-3057, 631-465-8100, 954-492-4096, 954-484-1247 only 2 left a message about the quotes for health  insurance so I'm guessing from reading some of your replies this is a scam??  Anybody who has any information on this please let me know. I do need health insurance for my daughter and I and I do not have the money to be scammed by some idiots.

can you please post the url or sites that you visited before these phone calls were made to help us all avoid falling into the same trap?

I also filled out a form for insurance this morning and two hours later my phone was ringing. When he got through to me, he was very rude and told me they were the only insurance that would accept me, so I told him I'd call him back if I was interested. Since then he's called back twice.

I actually fell into the trap, and now I am afraid.  He called and sounded professional at first, but then after he got my bank account information and my social security number, I saw a downfall in the level of expertise.  At first I was very sketchy about giving him my social, but he was very persistant.  I am going to report him to the FBI, like a previous poster stated.  I'm so afraid that I just got myself into trouble with identity theft!  And I definitely do not need that, money is tight as it is!!

I too filled out the online request for insurance.  The lady that left me a message did sound very professional, but thanks for all of the comments posted that causes my guard to go up (to the roof).

I too just hit submit on an online form for health coverage quotes for my recently widowed mother and immediately got phones calls from 631-465-8100 and 516-918-5700 (2). Neither left messages - I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so if they don't leave messages, they don't want my business that bad I guess. The weblink I followed was:

Hi Lindsay - while I understand the persistance they push on us for our personal information, if I were you I'd have asked for the information in writing before providing bank account and ssn information. Keep a close eye on your credit history for atleast the next 6 months and make sure you notify your bank of the potential for fraud. Good luck!

Same experience.  Filled out online stuff this weekend for Health Insurance.  Just called me.  No message either.  Thnaks for the Heads Up!!!!  I am glad I figured out I can look things up like this.

Just got a call also. When I would not give him my soc. he hung up on me ,defently a scam!
