After purchasing my wedding gown at Davids Bridal I have been swamped with these calls.

Apparently I won a free trip somewhere. lol Again! haha

i didn't know this was david's bridal!! i said they had the wrong number as soon as i picked up because i don't like dealing with these calls.

i haven't even bought anything from them yet! i only registered on their website! that's VERY annoying.....

I received a call from a lady (she never gave me her name) with "21st Century RP Brides" stating that I had 'won' a 3 day, 2 night hotel stay for my honeymoon at either the Ramada Inn, the Holiday Inn or the Marriott, my choice. I had also 'won' a $1,000 grocery card good for one year at any grocery store from grocery cards usa, and a 20-40% discount on the company's house ware. The lady said that the company would be in town tomorrow (Hilliard, Ohio) at the Hampton at 1pm AND 3pm (does that mean that they won't be there at 2pm? lol). I told her I would be busy tomorrow and she offered to call me back in 6-8 weeks. I said ok. I am currently asking the Better Business Bureau to develop a report on this company because there is no report on them as of yet. I'm also going to look up David's Bridal on the BBB site to see what their accreditation is. I would suggest you all do the same, as well, not only for 21st Century, but for David's Bridal. Most definitely file a complaint against David's Bridal on BBB! If ANYONE has already been scammed by 21st Century, REPORT THEM!!!!! If the BBB gets enough complaints, the WILL look into it for sure! Also, if you live in the Columbus, Ohio area, call Channel 6 on your side and see if they would be willing to investigate. Good luck!!!!

Same thing.  I won a bridal package from 21st Century RP. When I called this person back to yell at them, the girl didn't like that much.

I just received the same phone call, except the company said they were www.cookworldusa.com. I listened and even wrote some stuff down thinking, WOW this has to be a scam. I even asked the girl three or four times if this was something that I had to pay for and "So you're saying I won this".... I'm not sure if they are partnered with David Bridals as well as a sight that I had been on a couple weeks ago called www.theweddingchannel.com. ANYWAYS she said she would call me back in 6-8 weeks because I wasn't available for the dates she mentioned they would be in my area. Wow, its stressful enough with a wedding and then having to keep getting calls from ridiculous people. Last week it was a weight consultant! I called David Bridals and complained about that one, and they informed me that they're "partners" call everyone about weight loss which is ridiculous because WE ARE THE BRIDES! We do NOT need all this crazy pressure and added insanity.

I just recieved a call from them on my cell phone.  Kim from Cook World saying the I either requested a subscription to a bridal magazine (which I did not) or went on a wedding website.  There was another thing "that I did" which I can't remember but I know I didn't do it!  I signed up for David's Bridal weeks ago (hello 487543 e-mails a day) so that must be where they got my name.  I'm at work & couldn't talk, so she said she'd call back & leave a message with all the details.  Don't you know she called back & just when she was about to give leave all the info, the voicemail cut out.

BUT as I went back to check it again to see what exactly it was she said ANOTHER voicemail from Kim was there & it said that I won a Bridal Package & Trip from thier bridal drawing & that they can only hold it for a limited time so I MUST call back as soon as possible.

So has anything good come out of this??

If it's even a real address, if anyone wants to picket. And I was registered on theknot.com and cancelled it. And I went to David's Bridal last week. I saw something about these numbers associated with both so I'm not sure which did the trick.

Same thing as above just called me for a "prize delivery" tomorrow at the Christiana Hilton in DE. I asked a friend about it and you have to sit through classes and apparently they want you to sell their stuff??? Not really sure but I think its crap that I'm getting a call like this for registering on a site.. The only site I was on was David's Bridal and that is not one of the sites she mentioned I probably got picked from.. Glad to know it was a scam and when they call tomorrow to confirm my appt I will be letting them know I am not interested in selling their stuff for them.

Any problems though I can just call Joanna (according to her) at 631-271-2025 in the bridal dept..

I received a call from "Colleen" of "Cook World" a few days ago at 7:30 pm, which means it had to be 9:30 pm in NY! I didn't call her back because I'm very weary of people wanting to give me free stuff! I'm very upset to find out that this is affiliated with David's Bridal. I will definitely NOT be purchasing my wedding attire through them!

I received the same phone call as every body else we should tell someone or talk to the responsable of this because they are playing with us and that is not fair for anyone we have enough with the wedding's pressure to received this calls STOP THIS CALLS THEY MAKE NO SENSE TO ANYONE SO STOP WASTING YOUR TIME WORKING FOR COOKWORLDUSA.COM

COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS DON'T STAY QUIET

I just got a call from a Joanna at 631-470-7339 (it came up as RPLI INC on my caller ID) stating as several of you just advised, that I won a 3 day 2 hotel stay, a 1,000 grocery coupon card, and 20-40% discount off their stuff at cookworldusa.com. And that they would be in Jacksonville Monday at 6 and 8:30. She stated I could contact her back at 631-271-2025 and the person to talk to was Rick and his number was 904-741-4980. Since this is the same bs as the rest of you, I'll have to agree on it being a scam. Gee, I think that night it just may slip my mind...
I am still quite annoyed at either David's Bridal or someone else pulled this garbage, but sadly I'm not surprised. It seems like everyone is selling everyone else out.

I also got a phone call from 631-470-7338.  Christina was so nice to inform me that I had won a bridal package and a vacation.  The number I had to call back was 631-271-2025.  She said that I and my fiance had to come to a hotel in Tinton Falls, NJ Tues (No date specified) at 8:30 PM to claim our prize.  I think these people are sick.  I don't see how people get off selling people's personal information and never have any repercussions.  I didn't see anyone else mention them telling them to bring another person so I felt that was interesting.  Trying to recruit more now a days I suppose.  Report this scam and let's put a stop to it.

i got a phone call yesterday around one from a lady named kim.....she left me a voicemail stating that i won a prize from a drawing. i called today to ask how they got my number she said when i registered for the free gown at davids bridal that my info was sent to them, which was bs anyway. i figured it was something funny because wen i called and asked for kim they didnt knw who kim was and then told me to hold on...wen she came bak to the phone she said kim is off today but she looked up my info and that hoe name is joanne...first off i only said this is ashley...no last name or anything else....so how did she look up my info??????? she went on to tell me i won a free trip to any where in the world mexico, hawii, peurto rico, los vegas, anywhere. she said that i would win a free grocery card for a thousand dollars. no hidden fees or anything. she told me that they will be in dayton today at six or eight pm and my dumb [***] chose six. she said that they would be at the comfort inn across from the wright patt. airforce. and my rep. would be tom.....i am very pissed off about this scam... i always knew if something sound too good to be true then nine times outa ten it is. i asked her like five times is this real and was it a scam and she  said... i have better things to do with my time than scam people.....([***]).... davids bridal said that it may have been one of their partners...they some bull [***] to because they are suppose to have a secure website, so how is people info. getting to other people...scam artists.... the lady that called me had like a new york accent. she gave me a web site www.cookworldusa.com  and the number was 631-271-2025 they callede me from 631-470-2886. im glad i have internet access an i looked up the website before i went all the way out there and got my feelings hurt.

did anyone actually go to the hotel to see if it was true

hmmm i just got this exact call a couple of mins ago...my appt. is tom. im pretty discouraged now...dont really want to waste my time. i wish i could hear from somebody that actually went on the trip. anyone???

Apparently David's Bridal sells your name to EVERYONE. All I did was put my name down for a fitting so that I could speak to a consultant and now I am getting calls and emails from everyone. They never asked me if I wanted to provide my information to other wedding services. They did it on their own.

I also just received a call from a Janetta.   I am so annoyed if my phone number has been given out.  I also was told that I won three great prizes and to claim them tomorrow night.
I am interested to know who actually has gone to redeem these so called prizes.

Please post about your experience if you actually went.  I am interested to see what exactly they tried to pull.   Brides are busy enough without wasting our time on things like this!!!! There can't be that many winners out there!!!!!!!
