Robo call, something about winning a prize.  Called twice in a row!!  1st call I did not answer, 2nd call I did.  Called at 7:38AMCST!!  

this number calls and leaves messages about payday loans . ..

Called at 7:30am Monday according to my caller ID. Left a message that I applied for a payday loan. I didn't. Calls like this are the reason my ringer is always off until I'm awake and why I never answer calls from numbers I do recognize.

Really? 7:30 is awfully early to pester about nothing...

Traced to a cell tower in some place called Brentwood, NY...

keep getting calls saying a payday loan was approved... never applied for one! Calls are coming at work and boss isn't happy!!!

Did u call back? And did anyone pick up? Because when I called back it just said number that is not working.

This number calls regularly to my cell phone number, and leaves a recorded message: "HELLO! You have been approved for a loan in the amount of $1500!" --- NOT!! It's always the same recording, with an American sounding males voice. I haven't applied for any loans. This is a scam, operated by Patels, and you should never answer it, or give any information to them! Once they get their hooks into your telephone number, they'll call repeatedly day after day after day until someone either blocks them, or picks up and talks to them. What a racket!

Also wanted to add, they operate out of the state of New York and they have about 15 to 20 numbers that they use. It makes it very hard to block them… no matter which number they're calling from, it's always the same fake recording and attempt to get your information.

AT &  T   only  allows  6  blocked  calls   per  landline  phone  ,  so  how  are  we  suppose  to  block  millions  of  scammers  in  the  world  ?
Payday  loans  are  a  ripoff  and  they  charge  like  300  %  interest   per  month  until   its   paid  off  in  full.

I never call any number that I do not know back.  The only reason I answered the 2nd time is because the call came in so early in the morning and I was not 100% sure that it was not something important.  I usually  don't even bother answering number that I don't know.  Blocked through Comcast blocking service.
