Claiming to be from Windows. Wanting to access your computer to rid it of virus. Come on jerks, quit the calling. Windows does not call users.

Left a message that if not called back within 16-18 minutes a no bail arrest warrant would immediately be put into affect. He has an Indian/Mid eastern accent and comes across as comical/laughable even ending his aggressive tirade of threats with 'Thank you for taking the time to listen.'   Anyone with the least bit of common sense will realize it's some sort of scam.  He called back two days later but left no message this time.  Caller ID always says AMITYVILLE N.Y.

Called and wanted access to my computer for virus scan. I refused. She gave me a number and I could hear scads of operators in the background. The 800 number is 800-570-4629. She said her name was Jen and the 800 number was for George Martin. She said they were from Microsoft.

Just received a call could not undedstand him something about getting computer access. After A  min of me asking him to repeat himself he hung up

Same as others, kevin (sounded Indian) said he was windows tech support and they were some problems. I told him I had an apple computer and he hung up.

As with the others, said he was receiving reports from my computer that it was having virus issues. If I didn't turn my computer on right away and let him access it, the virus would cause major damage to my hard drive. I asked if he could tell what operating system my computer system was running and the phone support rep replied Windows, I just laughed and said, "Good luck trying to repair my system!  The only computer in this household is a Mac!"  At that point, he couldn't get off the phone quickly enough.

Get called by this number every few days.  I don't answer because I don't recognize it.  Never leaves a message.

Had the nerve to call my husband a [***] and since im 33 it was impossible to have 3 kids.

The jerk that called said they got reports of problems with my computer when I dont own one. After telling him not to call to remove me from the call list he cussed me out. I hung up and he called back telling me f*** you.

I hear ya. Had the same deal from an arab guy told me f*** you and threatened to kill us.

Caller told me to go fu@k my mother

These people are harrising my 80 year old mother.  Called them to tell them to stop, and they said they didnt know what I was talking about and hanged up on me,  Called them again on a different number, all representative and an Indian accent,  asked for the people by name who called my mom, and they said no one with that name worked there  They all had indian accents, but there name was Adam, David, John.

A call blocker might help. Also,don't pick up on numbers  you don't recognize.  The Indian scammers buy and sell phone numbers and the same number will be used for a variety of scams.

If they hit you once, they're sure going to hit you again.

I got same call and was threatened that me and my family would be killed.  When I told him I didn't understand him and to take me off their call list. I was called several names and told to f*** myself...

He contacted me today and said he was from Windows and that he needed access to my computer IMMEDIATELY.  Like others on here, I told him I had a MAC.  He still called me a "f****** b*****" as I hung up the phone.  Whatever happened to the No Call Registry?

The No Call Registry is a list of phone numbers that do not want sales calls and a law against calling those numbers.  It has stopped the photography studios and time share sales pests that used to call.  For a scammer its just one more law to break.

Short, sweet, and to the point.

caller id just says NY, USA. didn't leave a message so i tried calling back out of curiosity but the line was busy.

Called everyday, kept missing call until today.  I cannot believe people fall for these but same thing. Indian accent, from Microsoft someone trying to hack my computer.  What a waste of energy.  Get a job.

Same as others. I was driving and like a dummy answered, (with headset so legal :), guy with Indian accent very fast goes, "Hello how are you today mam ? I am blah blah blah you blah blah virus is your computer on?"  I am like what are you talking about? I can't understand you and I am in the car. "Mam I need u to get to your computer now. You have a virus... " so I say "how did you get this number? I don't use this for anything and it is not registered with anything or websites or connected to my computer. " He proceeds to get annoyed telling me to sit down at my computer now, I have a virus blah blah" I just hung up on him and blocked his number on my cell. I love how they can't vary from the script.. Even enough to understand I am not driving with my computer attached to my steering wheel.
