Received call on my cell, didn't recognize number so didn't answer.  Resulted in VM.  Prerecorded robo dialer "You recently applied for a Payday Loan.  You have been preapproved for up to $1500.  To receive your money directly deposited into your bank account, visit loanthatmoney.com".  I only give my cell # to people I know, businesses that require my # get the house line (that is rarely ever answered).  So they are likely war dialing every number.

I've never applied for, or ever even used any kind of payday loan or related loans.  Do so many people do such loans now, that scammers can say "You recently applied..." and the recipient think "Hmm, maybe that's one I applied for.  Sure I'll give them my financial info."?

Robo dial message alerting me to a pay day loan and same day loans, went to voice mail I will be reporting this number to FCC, I am on the do not call list.

Robo dial message telling me I qualify for a gold level loan.  I am on the do not call list.

Said I qualified for loan of $1500. I have not applied for a loan. Second call this week like this but from a different number. Caller id showed Out of Area.

Same as the rest of the folks here......never answer unrecognized numbers, delete the robot voicemail....easy peasy! :)

They left a message on my voice mail that I had been pre approved for a payday loan that I had applied for. No way I would ever get a payday loan.

I received a call from this number and let it go to voice mail since I did not recognize the number. I tried calling them back using the # that was on Caller ID. I got a recording saying that the number cannot be completed as dialed. I am also on a Do Not Call list.

Didnt answer unknown #. Message left was Robo dialer saying my loan was approved. I've not applied for a loan. Verizon ID coming from NY, Whitepages Caller ID from Canada?!

To everyone who is whining about "but, I am on the DNC list."  Wake up! These are illegal payday loan operators from overseas or operating right here in our own country.  The DNC list is a joke and really, do you think criminals are going to obey it?  Get a call blocking app for your cell, landline, whatever...and quit answering calls from numbers you do not recognize.
