- mi| 4 repliesclaimed to be with AT&T with a survey to answer 3 questions for a $20 credit. Gave me my name, address, phone number and asked to verify my last 4 digits of my ss#, when I said, Im not giving that to you, you tell me one number to prove you know it, he sent me a text from AT&T with a temporary password reset. They then according to AT&T hacked my account trying to order equipment and bill to me. I called AT&T directly after I had hung up so they managed to stop it.

- SuspiciousOfEveryCallJust got back to my phone to a missed call and my first instinct made me block the number as I do with all random calls from cities and states I do not know anyone. The call said it was coming from Ronkonkoma, NY (never even heard of it) but then I Googled the number and found this page. Ironically a voicemail was left stating I have a package from DHL arriving tomorrow, which is in-fact true. I've been tracking it online since receiving the shipment notice. It even gave instructions on how to go about actually receiving the package, whether I want it to be left at my door or not - and gave me the tracking number. So it turned out to be a valid call...which is super rare.
Not sure about all these other comments on here regarding this particular phone#.- Caller: DHL
- JG2710Got a call from this number at 7 a.m. (way too early for any business to call). They let they answering machine complete the message, but did not leave a message. Based on posts on this page, I assume it is likely a scam although one post found it to be legitimate. The caller ID said it was from Ronkonkoma, NY; I live in the West.
- Mr. XXGGEEEEJ.| 1 replyI got the "Hello, Grampa." This is the second time she/he/it has called. They're using a device to distort the voice digitally, so it sounds like a rather crusty old East European accent. I never did find out what it wanted. Clearly, it was not a recording...it interacted with me, was reactive to my comments. The Chicago Police looked into it, said it's an insane person, someone who is mentally ill. It was clearly NOT a scam. However, the first call came right after I told off a scammer. The scam was they wanted to send a crew to my home to dismantle my security system, replace it with a "better one" and give me a list of security companies!!!! I told the woman she's a crook, and she said, "Tell it to the FBI" and hung up. It was a great victory, getting her to hang up. Next day I got the first "Hello, Grampa." It's really too funny for words.

- DaveReceived a call at 8:45am. Caller asked for the phone number for an employee that works for me. I told him that I do not give out staff phone numbers without a good reason, and he hung up on me. I called the number back, "this number is not in service".

Incidentally we do not have any grandkids lol. I tried calling the number back of course and it was a non working number.
- PaPaJohnSame old thing, ring, ring, ring. Leave no message. Apparently the DO NOT CALL LIST doesn't work anymore.
