received a call from 631-615-4685 saying this was a state investigation service any comments

got call asking for someone i knew saying they were under investigation

i got a call sometime in december sayin i was under investigation and this rude foriegn ass whole kept demanding i payed money for a loan i was delinquent in, which i had not taken a loan out anyway i ended up payin him $125 so he would stop calling now hes calling again i hope this is not a scam cause i lost $125. is there anyway i can report these people?

I received 2 messages on my land line and also one at work claiming he isOffice Mike John. The messages left on my land line state he is investigating my social security number and I need to call him back immediately. The second message left on my land line is I am going to jail and I will be behind bars. I called the number back and I told and I was hung up on. I called again, and again, when I finally got someone on the phone, John Foster i told him I was recording the telephone conversation and I was hung up on. I called back, got recording. I called back again and I again stated I was recording the telephone conversation again I was hung up on.  I have no loan out with anyone. This apparently is a scam and if I receive another call from this number I am going to go to the police station and file a complaint.

i also received a call from these people,  please call and report them to the.police. they have all of your information identification like SSN, CDL, banking info, his name is jay williams, after talking to him he start telling me that i will send someone to arrest you if you not pay you are under investigation and let make a deal, i asked him what kind of deal and who you work with,i got hang up. i called back and no answer.

I just received a phone call from these people and they are so rude. Using last names like Parker an Jackson with such heavy accents.  Told me I will go to jail how do I want to resolve this I do not have any loans out and told him this and he continued to say that's great that's great..  Told him to send the police and I can't go to jail for a debt even if it was mine.. Told him I was going to report him to the FTC and Ny state attorneys office  not call again and I hung up. Such trash that people are trying to scam and scare people into thinking they owe money. If you never have received info about a debt an these people call by law you can ask for documentation ask for address to send certified letter to them for a copy. There are laws that protect us as consumers!!!!

Me too calling me at work and home,, same voice different name,, like James Brown,,, yes right you ass, Will Williams ,, Dan Wright, all the same voice,, they get your info over the net and try to get money out of you saying all kinds of crap,, do not I repeat do not send these [***] anything it's a scam,,,,   mess right back with them I do,,,, they are scum bags and scammers just trying to get money.

Called saying I was under investigation, told them I will report them to the police, they hung up. Sound like a foreign person.

Office John Foster called my WORK and said he would keep calling until I call back.  He said I would loose my job he would call so much.

I just got a call from this company about receiving money that I didn't receive. They are rude and said they will call me as much as they want. If you get a call from them hang up.

I have gotten well over 100 calls from this number (631-615-4685)! I never answer and always delete messages without listening to them until today. I accidently hit the wrong button and sure enough it was exactly word for word what everyone on here is saying....Except that he is calling himself officer David Marshal calling from BCI Bureau of Crime investigation! He then proceeds to tell me that my case file is with him because of a statewide criminal investigation. Then he lists off my ss# which unfortunatly is correct. However if he wants to steal my identity he can go ahead he wont get far with it lol and that I must return his call or he will be calling my work...(HAHA Im self employed he will only be calling me) and or causing havock at my place of work and or home if I dont return his call. He then proceeds to say that only god can help me out of this.
It looks like this is an ongoing scam for this man from which he has obviously pulled on many people. Has anyone reported him or is there something that can be done? Is there a REAL investigator on this already that I should contact?

These folks got my San and sum more stuff I had to close my account out and put a block on my phone ssn this really scare me on wat else they mite have

I was the latest victim,or not even a victim because all I could do is laugh at the message that this guy left. He called the wrong person. I have relatives that work with the State also FBI and they advised me that. The FEDS are not going to get involved because there is no real threat involved unless money was actually given in the amount that exceeds 10,000.00 As far as the State the Jurisdiction cant be determine because most of the calls are coming from other countries even though the area code is NY. The best thing is to not answer or even give out info.

He called my work on my day off so my boss called me. Said he we was
officer Micheal Brown, but had a Indian accent. I had been ingnoring the call on my cell,cuz I didn't know the number. Well I returned his call and he told me that I had taken a pay day loan out a couple of weeks ago which I did not, so now i'm charged with identy theft and check fraud. I told him he was mistaken then He stated yelling at me calling me a lair. He new my bank name the first 3 numbers of my SSN and my email address and my work number, so I asked him what account number did this money go into. Then he screamed ay me saying I'M HAVING YOU ARRESTED RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW, then hung up. WOW it really scared me. I called my local Police they knew nothing and my bank the same. I pray something can be done about this.

These idiots called my cellphone several times using English names -- their accents are so thick you know they aren't who they claim to be.  They say they will contact everyone at my place of employment and tell my personal business and any problems caused will be on me if I don't return the call (or as he says 'redurn de coll').  They say they are with Federal Crime Investigation and there is a complaint against my SSN.  This is so stupid - I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number and when I hear the accent, I delete the message (after listening just to laugh at the name they are using this time).  

If you're getting calls from these fools, don't confirm any information.  Tell them you that it's a scam and they are being traced through the phone company; or whatever; just don't give them anything they will consider a confirmation of your info.

I keep getting calls from this number like daily someone saying they are Officer David Marshall from the Dept. of BCI (he says BCI is the Buearu of Crime Investigation) He procedes to tell me that it would be in my best intrest to contact him via my attorney or I will be sorry.

i got a call to at my wk they said my name correct but my social and email was not even mind i told them im going to get my lawyer cause they dont have nothing on me and none of that info is mine and they hung up
