- Jane| 6 repliesScammer/robocall left a voice mail saying I'd recently applied for a PayDay loan & have been approved for the highest level. I have NOT applied for any loan for years. They say that highest amount is $1500.00 That ain't a lot. Then they say to go to www.loanthatmoney.com and type in your approval code.
I looked up the info on that website and it was created on July 14th, 2015. So a whopping 8 days ago. Total scam. And they're in Panama. BEWARE!!!!!
(We really need an option in the drop-down menu to select Scammer, rather than Unknown.)- Caller: Scammer / PayDay Loan

- Jane replies to Jane| 3 repliesBy the way, do NOT click on that link to that site! It is there for informational purposes only.
- Slim replies to Jane| 2 repliesThank you for the site name.
A little investigation shows that site's Domain was created on 7/14/2015
For the math challenged, that is 8 days ago! Is that a sign of a legitimate, trustworthy and reliable organization?
The sites's Domain expires on 7/14/2016 - a little less than a year from now.
That fact alone should reveal something to intelligent people.
This domain is protected by privacy service, so you don't see the real registrant name.
So, we can't identify who are the real scammers.
Unfortunately, I betcha there are people who will still believe stuff they see at that site ... - Jane replies to SlimYeah, I put that date in there. :) I work in Fraud Prevention; Who Is is my best friend.
The one thing we can see is the country is Panama. I reported it to the FTC, even though they'll probably just make another site. I hate these people, hence my job! - William replies to SlimI went to the website.
"Received an Approval Code? Your accepted. Get started below."
This is probably another phishing site pretending to be a loan broker. - Joyce replies to JaneI received the same call today. I typed in the site and nothing came up.
- MatthewScammer/robocall left a voice mail saying I'd recently applied for a PayDay loan & have been approved for the highest gold level. They say that highest amount is $1500.00 . Then they say to go to www.loanthatmoney.com and type in the VIP promo code, then is spits out a code.

- Doug williThey call leaving a message I am approved for a loan.
- bw| 1 replyMe too. Everything everyone else said.
Here's what I did...I went to consumercomplaints.fcc.gov and filed a complaint against these people. Surely the FCC can bust the WHOIS protection on this domain and find out what Panamanian (ha) registered it. The site is hosted in San Antonio, TX so the FCC has jurisdiction.
In filing my complaint, I transcribed the entire script read on the robo call. I suggest you do that too. Feel free to copy and paste this into your own FCC complaint, and thanks for the support.

- GailI received a call from this number saying that I had been approved for a pay day loan in the highest amount! I hung up! I have never applied for a pay day loan in my life!!!
Beware!! - Michelle_732 replies to JaneI to just received this call with all the same information. I received a similar call the day before stating that they were with the Us Treasury department and that I was going to be getting a $7,000 Grant and asked for a credit card number to transfer the money too. I only mention this as I thought it was funny that they mentioned the exact same approval code to reference for both phone calls. Beware and don't give out any person information.

631-855-0545. Urgent Scam Alert
Scam Alert- did you receive a call or a voice mail stating you have been pre-approved for a loan up to $1,500.00. You just have to go to the web site and enter your approval code they provide in the message.
If you call this phone number back you find out it's not a real number. Clue!!!
Do not go to the web site or enter that code, it will probably be dropping a cookie or virus on your PC or Phone so they can grab your information and steal your Identity.

Here is where I go to check on the WhoIs stuff: https://whois.domaintools.com/ I have a free account on there; I'm pretty sure that you can see more info when you have an account. And no zip code.
