some chick left message on our business phone to call back to this number, no reason given, did not return the call

I received a call form the same number and was lead to believe by the message left, this was from an Attorneys office, but after looking them up on the internet, I found out the company is actually a collection agency.  I am waiting for a follow up call from them to see what this is about, but don't think the call is anything positive.

Same as others, I came home to a message to call this number (I didn't-- I have no need for their services, and know that I own no one $).   They appear not to be respecting the Federal Do Not Call list just as so many junk fax distributors.  Very annoying.

I received a phone call as well, I was a little reluctant on calling back. I did however need some assistance on some accounts that were owed to my company. I wound up placing 10 accounts with their company and so far the results are OUTSTANDING..!!!

Ditto... received call on business line from a woman stating message was for the A/R Dept. and to call Benjamin & Williams back at 631-941-3300

9:30 this morning (Friday 082208).  Woman caller left a message (and apparently started speaking before the machine kicked in) ".... and please call me at 631-941-3300, I look forward to hearing from you soon".

Didn't call back, needless to say.

They got my phone number by using a FAX number removal system 1-866-881-6262.
Send them a pitch black paper copy over and over (out to in); this will empty there FAXs toner.

Got a phone call from Benjamin & Willams Credit Investigator asking for me to call back to 631-941-3300, so I did and got an answering machine asking for my name and phone number? I left none and hung up, should I be calling them back?

Is this a hoax? If so how do I kep them form calling again?

Got an unsolicited call on our answering machine from Benjamin & Williams Credit Investigator asking our accounts receivables person call them back at 631-941-3300. We are registered with the national Do Not Call List.

We received a computerized call on our voice mail.  It started before our system began recording.  Caught the number when the male voice repeated it, on the recording.  As far as the rest of the message, we did not get it, so have no idea as to what it regards.  After searching internet, I believe we will pass on their request to call them back.  Our fax machine has been getting a lot of hang-up calls, too.

We are also on both the state and national Do Not Call Lists.

Message left on voice mail indicated caller wanted accounting dept. to call 631-941-3300. I did. This is a collection company that wants to do business with us if we need help with collections, but that certainly isn't what was indicated by the message left. I told the woman that answered that this was a very LOW, under-handed scheme to get business customers. Called back to ask for address and the same woman got very defensive, wondering why I would need THEIR address, so I told her it was to report the company to the NYS Attorney General's office for deceptive practices...she told me I could look up the address on the web & hung up.

Called our business today and left the same recorded message as indicated above.  I'm not calling them back...

picked up the phone and received the tail end of a call in which a man was leaving his number and asking us to call back.  He left a number twice.  I did a google search and found this website.

I imagine some people fall for this sort of trick which I imagine is nothing more than a prospecting ploy to find new business.
