Left no message.

Called our landline today at 11:30AM. The Caller ID said Deer Park. Rang 4 times and went to voicemail, but left no message. I called back the number (stupid me - now they know this is a working number - I tell everyone else not to call these numbers back, and then, I do it!) I get a recording that says the number is "Out of service". Why can't these jerks leave us alone?

Received a phone call from this number today. They left no message . I called it back it went to a full mailbox.
Probably another scam.

This alleged number called and I am thankful they did not leave a message.

Call came in as "cellular caller".  A woman who claimed she was from Allstate (no name) asked if I already had Allstate.  She sounded stoned, I hung up.

These jerks call me a few times a week.  The Caller ID says Deer Park. The first time they called, I wondered if it was legit (bc I actually live in Deer Park), but I followed my gut and did not pick up.  (If it WAS legit, they would have/should have left a message. They did not.)  As I always say, DO NOT PICK UP AND NEVER EVER CALL THE NUMBER BACK! These scammers always find ways to spoof phone numbers, so this Deer Park number could be an overseas call.  Or it could be some local schmuck, "Hi, we're doing some construction work for one of your neighbors, and they thought you might be interested in getting a quote...." We aren't friendly with any of our 'neighbors', so they're full of s**t!  We are listed in the DoNotCall registry - it's worthless! So we just don't pick up. I do notice that after a few weeks, the calls from a particular Caller ID become fewer and far between. Then a new one pops up - ID says: Cadyville with a 518 area code, which is upstate NY.  Sometimes they use the Cadyville directly after the Deer Park, within seconds....STOOOPID!

This is the second call from this alleged number. The number displayed "Cell Phone NY" and that a little suspicious. Especially considering that a previous post indicated that this might be connected to somebody claiming to be Allstate.

Another day and another call from this operation. I highly doubt this is Allstate calling. I say this based on the simple fact that caller id indicates this is a cellular phone. I hope they are not displaying the number of an innocent third party.
