Missed call.  Don't recognize phone number.

Received the same telephone number today about individuals who are monitoring Microsoft on my computer and the [***] that my computer has unwarranted security penetration.

Gimmick. Told them to forget it and would take care of.

No doubt in my mind it's a scam.

Just received a call from "Glenn" from this number who had broken English speaking voice.  He asked to speak to my husband (knew his name) in which I said that he was busy.  Then he asked to speak to me....knew my name!  He was calling about an upgrade to our medicare program.  When he asked me if we received info about this, I told him that I didn't believe this to be a valid call.  He hung up.

I received a call today from 634-169-3874. The man asked for me by my first and last name. I told him that person was not here and asked if he'd like to leave a message. He said he was calling from Noble Pharmacy about Blaine's meds. When I asked him for the phone number to have Blaine call him back, he hung up the phone. The 634 area code is not valid so they are putting in a false number for caller ID so no one can trace them.

I just received a phone call from them offering me a grant. I almost went for it.  I gave them my credit cared number and when they could not retrieve funds from the account I remembered I had given them the wrong account number.  They said they ran my card three times and asked me for my user name and pass word.  I became FURIOUS.  I hung up on them and alerted my bank.  IT'S A SCAM!!!

Also received a call from this number today. He was saying something about surgery. I sad I can't understand u can u talk slower and he hung up. Definitely a scam!

I can't believe anyone would give any stranger their credit card number....valid or not!  Obviously if they get enough people like you, they'll keep calling!!

Got a call from a woman with broken English claiming to be from pc tracker.  She said my computer was illegally downloading files and they had been sending messages to me for a month but I didn't respond.  I asked who is pc tracker and she said they are a Microsoft company and they need to fix my computer.  I have to admit, I almost fell for it. Went down to the computer and she asked me to hit the windows key and the letter r, then type in eventvwr.  At that point I said I had to call her back.  Realized I had norton internet security, checked it and it was running, no viruses. She actually called me back but I said I got my neighbor to fix the computer, thank you anyway.  She was not happy.  Oh well.  So glad I didn't fall for it.

Also - if you really DID get a grant, you would NOT have to pay any "fees/taxes/whatever" upfront!

he had all my business info and try to upgrade my AT&T phone service and more for less price. but just month ago I call AT&T for upgrade DSL speed they only had 3 mbps in my area. And this guy offering 6 mbps.

Definitely a scam!

These people have called me 21 times from 6 am - 1 pm, using different numbers and different spiels from a money loan to my Microsoft pc is broken.  I own a mac, these people are a royal pain in the ass.

Called asking my mother to check a website in order to fix her computer. She lead her on for a while and told the caller she was hanging up now.  I tried to call the number back. Not a valid number. Decided to share my story with everyone.

got a call today from this telemarketer trying to sell me this Grant from the govt telling me he was calling from washington D.C and was born in america i kno ppls voices when i hear them he was Most Def either Indian or Bangladeshi.   i asked him for his federal employee number and he hanged up the phone.   im gonna try my best n get this [***].

We also today received a phone call from this number.  It was a man with a broken accent.  He told my husband that our computer was doing illegal downloads.  He gave my husband an ip address....that ip address is our printer!!  He wanted my husband to go to a computer and press the control button.  That was as far as my husband got with him because he told him he wouldn't do anything of the sort!  I want to catch this creep!!

Called me 5 times today!!!! Did not leave a message or anything, I want them to stop calling me!!

I received a call from this number. I did not answer but they left a message saying I quailified for a loan up to 10,000. He said his name was William White but he had a very strong indian accent. lol I did not call them back.

I got a call from this number today.  I answered the phone but there was too much static to hear the person clearly - I asked them to repeat what they said - they just hung up.  I hope this isn't one of those situations where they keep calling back... what a pain.

Recv'd call from this # also talking about something wrong with my computer and Microsoft...didn't buy it told him that my computer is working just fine and didn't believe what he was saying he then hung up....

Scam....is what I'm thinking!!!!!!!
