Just got a call from this number but they hung up?  Anyone know what it is?

Just got a call.  I didn't answer and got a voicemail.  Something about lowering the interest on your Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card.  I deleted the voicemail before it even finished.  I tend to get these every now and then.  It's like this replaced the 'vehicle warranty expiration' calls I used to get.

They left a voice mail and it is someone calling about your Visa/MC account stating there is nothing wrong with your account they just wanted to inform you about some specials they have going on.

I did a reverse lookup at whitepages.com, got the following information

Google search for name came up empty.  It's probably spamming for live lines which it dumps to some other spammer.

Yea, that sounds like a scam, big time.  Tell them nothing!

The recording from this number states that they can get you better rates- this is a big time scam  636-456-8446 is the number for those ID thieves.

my grandma&grandpa had gotten a call from the same number as me.i am wondering,is it really a scam?? we get calls saying nothing,and they hang up on us! who is tampsey tabor??

just got a call didn't say anything until I said hi then after about 10 seconds someone said "Uhhh Hi" & then hung up.

Got a call - didn't recognize it.  Didn't answer.  Googled #, found this site.  No voicemail.

Just got a call from this number, they hung up on me.  Apparently my credit score is so low the fake credit card companies don't even bother spamming me anymore.  That's depressing. LOL.

I got a call too, saying it was Erika (sounding very automatic) and talking about creditcards, I hung up when I heard 'creditcards'

I just a phone call from this number.  I did not answer and they left no message.  From the prior reports, I now know why.  Sounds bogus.

Just missed a call from this number, tried to call it back and got a really fast busy tone twice.

Just got a call as well from 636-456-8446 it was a recording talking about my AMEX/VISA/MC Accounts,  this is a scam, they get some chump to give them the cc #'s, expiration date, security # on back of card etc. then charge outrageous amounts to your cards.

Didn't answer, they left a voicemail, something about visa mastercard...how do they get cell phone numbers!?
