got a call today about "free grant" money.  Gave another number to call and give my Credit Card number to transfer the money

I was supposed to take a trip to Washington, DC to claim the money.
The man's voice sounded very much like the calls I've received claiming that my computer needed repair--\
which can't be true because I got those calls before I even bought a computer.
I understand that those calls were also from Washington, DC.

Keeps calling wanting my credit card expiration date and pin # wanting "to reduce my interest rate",,, I hung up first time & called my CC company... They told me its a big scam & if I did give info to shut down card - get new one BC with info requested they could use my card anywhere. They call about twice a week now but change numbers frequently. They say they are card services but cannot state what card

Received a phone call from this number. It was a gentleman with an Indian accent claiming he was from the Department of the Treasury and I had been selected to receive a $9000 grant because I payed my bills and taxes on time.  Fortunately, the call got disconnected.  Be very wary of this one

Got a call from this number this morning. I don't answer calls not recognized by caller ID. I let the answering machine answer - then I'll call back if required. I blocked the number.

I got a call claiming to be from Microsoft. Accent lindian. I told him there is no reason for Microsoft to call me and hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number this morning. "Jack" from Windows technical support. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. He had a heavy Indian type accent.

Got a call from this number saying it was federal government or department of treasury and first of all if that was true federal government doesn't call people like that it's a [***] scan and I cussed the lady out don't answer your phone if u I get called bye them

Ditto.   Hung up

I got a call from this number, a man with a very heavy Indian accent. Claimed to be from Microsoft and said my computer was being hacked. I asked him which one and he said all of them. I hung up at that point.

Heavy Indian accent. "Microsoft Technical Support." 2nd or 3rd time this guy has called me. Different number every time. Claims to know "everything about your computer and I am calling to help. Your computer has been sending out signals of malicious software..etc. etc." Scam. Do not answer.

This is the third call I've received telling me that the government has selected my name to receive a free grant. I've blocked the # each time, yet still continue to receive these calls. If I try to return the call, the # cannot be completed.
