Thursday night and today's Friday. I had a dream last night. Book review.
Not all debts are monetary based. A debt may occur in society between two people in more abstract terms,
where no payment per se exchanges hands, instead the medium of communication allows language to be addressed, understood and processed as a method of "repayment" of this indebtedness that one person may evoke and bridge onto another.
Trying, as error-prone as I may be, in recent days to read and ponder into the latest Table of Contents that have randomly(?) found its way to my desk, I am left to wonder if the author has sought me out for the strict purpose of allowing me the freedom to stamp a book as certain parts fiction and non-fiction, with determinative quantities hoped to be ascertained. A book always at the ready, the author(?) knows my capabilities.
Watching a man stumble, lose his orientation and fall to his knees for a time. Makes for difficult reading. As, I am sure, it made for difficult writing, with reasons unsure and only known to the holder of the authoring pen. Providing this review(?) was a measure to help ease the obvious pain set out in the book. The book describes a kitchen - condominium based - with the recommendation of a glass rack being affixed to the ceiling (for lack of cabinet space) by the prettiest girl the guy in the book has ever known. This is the book parsed from my desk.
But alas, those that read and write should gravitate to the knowledge, hope, peace and understanding that this man has stated that he will be fine; will weather life's challenges and strive to reach for the mountain again one day. It was promised.
It is a man that deserves to know if this is so, if the author has sent me this book with the intention to review, or if it is even a book of note at all. Was that chapter intended as a test? It should be made clear that this man never strayed off course; as God will witness, a man that was steadfast loyal in his relationship to a fault. As seasons and years changed. To this day even.
Effecting a bridge that marches one forward. Everyone is responsible for their actions. And as the book notes, errors were made on both sides. The truism is what is written can not be unwritten, but words have the power to set one free. This is why I yield to the book parsed from my desk. It is asked that you only feel a positive lift, a boost of happiness from this attached review and not down in any way, this is highlighted in yellow, with the word "please" next to it.
If such. It is still unknown. Establishing a Table of Contents and having it find its way to my desk was ultimately the right thing to do, even though it was the wrong way to index, then address it. Still, as this book has always been bigger than myself, I rise above and look beyond selfishness of the tarnished chapter to its gold-leafed contents. Your attempts at contact show strength in character. The February-born man described in the book truly hopes the author can learn to forgive, to smile again; and soon, and find peace in the way this book was penned.
Knowledge of the author's well being, will bring new light to even the most rainiest of days and that is the tonic to be had here.
Allowing you to move forward in life, with purpose and prose, to find your destiny, as your smile returns to light those around you. You deserve such. You deserve happiness in your life. God would bless the effort and will forgive what you have battled with, just never give up on yourself. And the man born in the February cold, would find strength and happiness in knowing this to be the case.
Knowing the effort I made to read this book, and the inherent struggles resulting, I ask for this promise of the aforementioned author's happiness as further form a repayment of indebtedness. And confirmation of receipt of this review, a nod to understanding is welcomed. It will help both the debtee and the debtor. It should not be too much to ask under the circumstances. This is what I ask.
Note to the author: Of course, it is agreed by both parties that the author's content, or unintended stray material that came loosely binded on my desk, is never to be published, just the possibility for shared communication between the debtor and debtee as "repayment" terms to allow the book to be properly filed.
Please provide copy on my desk to confirm and fear not of any subsequent response, as the contents of this book will forever stay anchored to my desk. I bid you only happy trails. :)
