Got a call from these effing asshats this very afternoon as a matter of fact!

The script the bee-yatch read aloud in the pre-recorded message went (I have transcribed it as faithfully as humanly possible) as follows:

You'll be glad you did!"

That by the way is an Ontario, Canada exchange, mostly for cellular phone service and/or the Mississauga area (next door to Toronto) if I am not mistaken.

Well anyway, since you can't exactly reach out and physically bee-yatch-slap the bee-yatch in the message, here is my alternative suggestion which I hope you will enjoy:

Call them back! Call them at the number they invite you to use, as listed above (647-477-8358) BUT BUT BUT ---> be sure to hit *67 first to block your number from being identifiable to them!!!

When/if anyone actually answers, simply barrel forward, relentlessly but clearly, just like their recording, using the same cheerful, confident (and confidential) tone! Remember not to speak quickly. Works best if you draw it out! Inform them of the following GREAT new service:

Just picked up a call from this number but no one answers the line, just quiet. What's the purpose of a telemarketing call when they don;t even answer the phone when someone picks up.

This number has called me about a dozen times in the past few weeks.Nobody replys when I answer

Telemarketing should be banned in this country. These lowlifes are the scum of the earth, all compiled into one cancerous entity. I'd like to know the address they are working from. The phone companies who let them run their business with constant harrassment, are equally at fault. Get a real job. One that contributes to society. I pity telemarketers, but they have a choice, and so they should use it.

This site is for people trying to put a stop to this crap and you leave an annoying message on here promoting the same kind of telemarketing crap.

I just recieved an email from an idiot claiming that I can make all this money and blah blah blah blah blah, this is for real, blah blah blah, I'm a real person, blah blah blah.................... if I call 641-715-3900 ext 34700
An old home address and an old cellphone number of mine was quoted at the bottom of the email. How in the blue hell they got an old cell number of mine is beyond me. It's ok though. It's no longer in service.
I have Yahoo email so I click on the "Spam" button :D

Hi there "The Exterminator": By September 2008 the local phone companies in Canada will have the right to stop these type of calls from your HOME number upon your request. The CRTC (a government agency) will make a final decision about these type of companies and BELL Canada will monitor these type of callers with a national directory !
