Received a call from this number, Is there some way to use craigslist to overload the number? ie: free stuff please call 614-715-3900 . ideas anyone

Got 3 call hanging up when answering in less than 24h in Montreal, Qc ; at least one from then (dialed *69 to track the number). What do they want???

This is the second time I received a phone call from, 641-715-3900. It took about 30 seconds and then a long message began, all in French, which I did not understand. I did however call the number back and all I get is, "punch in the extension you want" ???

So one of the following is happening:

1) the company "simplevoicebox.com" is (for a price) allowing someone to send telemarketing calls and make it look like it's coming from 641-715-3900.

2) someone connected to 519-913-2441 (in my case) is making telemarketing calls and is "spoofing" or forging the caller ID number and using 641-715-3900 as a decoy.  Be aware that the caller-ID information can easily be faked or altered to appear as anything the telemarketer wants.  The phone companies know this, and they allow it, but will deny any knowledge of this practice.

Called me April 1, 2008. Didn't recognize number, didn't answer.  When I googled it, found that it might be a # for Ron Paul organization (I'm in Canada...maybe they're recruiting for the Libertarian Party...who knows?)

I received many calls from this a*shole. 6417153900. It' a message in French that is now so noisy that we can't understand a word. I called my phone Camponay (Videotron I'm in montreal) and they told me thay can not do anything and that it is legal to do that!!!! WOW! Everybody will start doing that now and bye bye the phone. We will all have to rely on the internet to communicater! haha!

so what can we do if the phone company can not do anything? Let's find this idiot and let's harass him too legally!

Received 2 calls within a week - this number is leased for cold telemarketing calling to any company that has need for this. You may receive different offeres from different companies from the same number. Some are legit but some are abusive (chargeback of $99/min and up have been reported from this number)...
Just do not answer the call... If someone is really interested in contacting you they will leave a message... DO NOT CALL BACK any number that you do not recognize...

This seems to be a "personal marketing" company, following the link posted above that leads to "Nussential", a company that make "direct sells" of food in pills and sets to make... your own candles ! Whow, what an amazing opportunity of beeing... fooled ?

This looks exactly as "Amway" for those who now it... so every call is made to transform you in a sort of servent and master, slave of this company, bying their wonderfull (but not really given ;) products, and trying to sell it to you friends, and then trying to make you friend do the same... so that finnally you exhaust all your time for few pinuts, but selling the products for theyr benefit, with no structural cost for them, except those cheap and poor videos on poor and cheap websites...

It's a guy by the name of Frank Pollacco.  He is a con artist... works scams in the Toronto area - he pretends to a big shot and cons people into giving his (fraudulent) companies money.  Watch out for these other numbers as well - 416-615-0300 416-615-0400, 416-837-8285, 416-825-8285, 416-777-2676, 416-777-2673.

I got an automated telemarketing call originating from this number today. I'm based in Ottawa, Canada.

Another thing: They're quiet at first. It took about 10 seconds for the recording to kick in for the telemarketer. Honestly, I hate these people as much as I hate spammers.

Received calls from this number anywhere from 1 to 4 times a day. When I pick up the phone there is no one on the line. This has been going on for the last 6 weeks. How do get this company to stop calling?

said they were from a consensus organization for business then started asking personal questions on survey. I hung up

Got this call tonight, in Kitchener. It is very annoying to receive this type of call. Thought I would google it and found out that they are calling everyone else.

April 5 2:30pm in Montreal. Nobody on the other line when I picked up.

This is because they probably use automated dialers, which blast out a bunch of calls, and as people pick up, they go to operators. Many times, when this happens, there are not enough operators to take all the calls that answer.

I've had this call several times before. The day will soon come when our phones will be ringing incessantly with these kind of calls. Unless our lawmakers do something about it.
