anting to know if I've had surgical procedures using certain types of medicines or implants. this was the 10th phone call in the past week, all occurring at 4am-7am.They sound like people of East Indian descent, made obvious by their strong accents. I've spoken to at least 12 people all of them with similar accents, asking where they are calling from, they say Florida but the number on my CID says NY, so I then call them out on all of their accents- one idiot got brave yet stupid and said he was spanish, and that his accent was spanish. I asked if he thought I was a deaf as stupid, reassuring him that I wasn't. My man is from Spainb and now I'm beyond pissed, AND I have a feeling that they are operating out of India using hacked mobile accounts from the US to remain trying to untraceable while fishing for personal information under the guise of investigating on behalf of some medical agency wanting to find people who have suffered complications in surgery due to wire mesh implants or some other procedure. F'ing ridiculous. If they were legit, they could contact doctor offices instead. It makes no sense for them to keep randomly calling someone who hasn't had any work done at 4 in the morning.

I get the same calls - all from different phone numbers.  I keep "blocking" them on my cell phone but it's very irritating.

I'm in California and these [***] call me from NY at 6:30 AM!!!!  I didn't answer, because I don't know anyone in NY. No message no nothing just an early morning harrassment call!!!

On a No call list and they called anyways.. We have reported them, everyone needs to report the people maybe someday it will stop them..

If obama was worth anything he,d exec order that u.s. companies are held responsible for security & conduct of their phone #s....welcome to modern america.

8 calls in 2 days.. I tell them not to call but they insist I had surgery they argue with me and even have gotten rude.. They continue to call claiming from law office and it has now become harrassment

Was getting calls from other numbers asking if i have had a bladder surgery. When I say no they act surprised like "you have never had this surgery are you sure?" I keep blocking them from my phone and I put myself on the do not call list but they keep coming.

keep getting the same call saying I had surgery. lol I never had surgery my whole life. wish they quit calling so annoying. I told them I don't understand them when they speak and just hung up. I'm on the do not call list. I just reported them.

I have received several calls a day for the past week. I have not answered the calls and they they do not leave a message. It is very irritating! I have blocked the numbers but more calls keep coming.

These [***] call nonstop, I usually don't answer but I'm sick of my phone ringing off the hook.  The guy had a heavy Indian accent and said he was Ian Thomas (and I'm Oprah) and started asking me questions about past surgeries.  I asked for the company name and he ignored the question, then when I asked him to remove our number from their calling list he got an attitude and asked me why.  I asked him two more times and he kept interrupting me and refusing to remove our number.  I ended up screaming at him not to call again and hanging up.  Also blocked the number.

I'm getting same thing ... Wonder how they're getting our numbers? Mines not even published on Facebook.

I have gotten 5 calls in a row one after the other.... its very annoying asking about my surgery.... Highly crazy and I am considering reporting this number.

I have received 3 call from this number today.  I was not home when the first 2 calls occurred, but when I answered the third one, there was a lot of background noise and no one answered when I said "hello".  The man had a very thick Indian accent and, from what I could understand or hear, he was talking about legal or medical help.  I told him I did not need either and told him to remove my name from the call list.  He continued to press the issue that he was calling to give me legal/medical help, to which I continued to respond that I did not need either, that the message left earlier was asking to speak to my underage daughter, and to never call me again and remove my name.  After about 3 rounds of this conversation, he said "ok" and hung up.  There was a voice mail left on one occasion, and the caller, a man, asked to speak to my daughter (who is a minor). I am most disturbed that my daughter was the person he asked to speak to and the continuing calls are annoying.

Second call I have gotten from this number today.  Number shows up as being from New York and the idiot tells me he is calling from Miami.  Have told them both times to take me off their calling list. Thick Indian accent and, from what I could understand or hear, he was talking about legal or medical help.  I can tell you, I am not being nice when he calls.  If he want abuse, just keep calling.

These people called my home 6 times today.  I finally answered and the jerks asked about my surgeries.  Well....I decided to waste their time.  I told him about my frontal lobotomy and how it made everyone I heard on the phone sound like stinking East Indian dogs.
He said "WHAT"!!!!
I said yep, every one who is a grunt gets reincarnated as a phone jerk.  In their next reincarnation the turn into a mangy dog.  After that, they turn into a pile of cow dung.
He hung up the phone and I have not heard frame them since.

WOW, I got a call from this number yesterday (3-11-15 at 11:29am ET) and when I googled the # then there were no comments at all. I have been getting hit by so many random #'s I decided this morning to come in and put the first comment on it. Surprise there are so many now. They must have just started using this # to through people off.

I called the number back to find out who it was and some kind of insurance scam. Heavy Indian accent that someone sold my phone number to. I have my info on the do not call list but apparently it doesn't matter when people are calling from other countries. BEWARE of signing up for free samples because you NEVER get the free samples and your info is sold to the world!

Called me 10 times in the last 12 hours.  I called back, told the person that answered to never call my number again.  he said "I'll call you whenever i want, i'll call you 100 times today, just watch!"  Then told me he was calling to get me compensation for my vaginal mesh surgery.  I said i've never had surgery in my life.  He told me I was lying, and then hung up on me.
He sure seems to know a lot about my personal life.  How do you make these calls stop?  I'm very annoyed, and if I get 100 calls today, i'm going to lose my cool.

These scammers are not "u.s. companies" they are foreigners operating under their own laws, which apparently do nothing to stop them from trying to scam innocent people anywhere in the world.

This is like a broken record.
1: Don't answer calls from unknown numbers.
2: If you do answer, don't engage in conversation with them: asking/telling them to stop calling is useless.
3: DO NOT EVER call that number back
4: Take control: Look into call blockers, which are easily found by an Internet search.
