Unknown number, repeated calls, 15 to 20 per day from this number

This # is calling my home between 8 & 15 times a day, 7 days a week for about two (2) weeks now. They do not leave a voice mail, and they're calling between the hours of 8:30 am & 9:00 pm. If they do not leave a message I would imagine it's not that important.

Calls 10 or 15 times a day.  Never a voicemail, so I don't bother answering.

No kidding... I am getting the same amount of calls per day (15-20) I already even know the approximate times they are going to call each day. (Calls start @ 8:17am and end @ 8:47pm) I do not answer because I know it is City Bank. My husband is past due $ 20 on his account.  Yes, thats correct, ONLY $ 20!!!! They have never left a message, so I figure if they can't leave a message, its must not be too important.  STOP BUGGING CITYBANK!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A CLUE!!!!!!

The last couple of days I have been getting calls from this number.  I finally answered and they said they were collections from Credit One Bank.  They knew I was past due (only 7 days) on my account for $47.00 which is the entire balance on the card.  I was not convinced enough to give my debit card or bank account information.  I finally hung up on the supervisor.  It was strange though how they knew exactly how much I owed.  They wanted me to verify my address.  Could that be a way to look up my past due accounts somehow?  He refused to verify my account number, however, he knew the last digit of my social security number.

I missed the call 8 times.
I called them back. It said Credit One Bank.
I do not know that company.
I wonder why???

The phone did not said anything and hunged up. After that they do not call me anymore.

This is Credit One bank the 646 area code is New York City, they call about 20 times a day and never leave a message, according to NJ (my state) state law a collector can only call 3 Times a day monday - Friday.

I am like all of you here ....these calls start at 8:03am cdt....and continue all day long till 9pm. Never leaves a message,I was $20 behind on my account paid it and they are still calling non stop!! This is getting old Fast!! I am cancelling my CC with them immediately!!

Jeeze, they are calling my work and home and in the past 1 hour have called 3 times!!!! I owe $15!!!!!   They never lv a msg there getting their money in 3 days but after that i'm closing the account!

This number is definately from Credit One Bank.  The man is incredibly rude, and gets very loud.  Insists on payment at the time of the call.  Again, incredibly rude and loud!!  Nasty ass man.

I am 69.00 over due on my Credit One Acct, I told the rep I would make that payment next week and to stop calling my phone every hour or else I would report them for telephone harrassement! They are getting on my nerves!

I started to get the calls today (5 times to be exact)Since I did not know the number I do pick up. I decided to google it and now I see this on the web.. If this is definitely a bank that I do business with, I will terminate any accounts I have with them. They are tacky and it's not a business way to do business.

They call all the times all week long. No idea who they are.

They have called me 8 times since Monday.  They have even texted me a few times.  They ask for some woman (whom I've never met).  I've explained a few times that they have the wrong number.  I have never had any dealings with this bank, yet they persist in calling.  This would be an excellent class action lawsuit due to the extreme number of people they are harassing.

My son had a credit card account with this bank that has been paid off and the account was called, yet they insist on calling several times/day and not leave a message.  Unfortunately, if you have been a customer of any of these companies or their subsidiaries, they can continue to call you even if you are on the "do not call" registry.  I figure they will eventually get sick of no answers and stop calling!!!!

Federal law out rides state laws and according to the fair debt collections act collection agencies can call from 8 am until 9 pm 7 days a week up to 3 times an hour unless contact is made with the debtor. If they are calling your cell phone you can ask to have that number removed since it is illegal to for collection agencies to call them.
