a female called me at work, and asked to speak to me. I assumed it was a scam since I did not recognize the number. I asked her to what was the phone call in reference to, and she would only say that someone was taking legal action against me. I did not tell her she was speaking to me, and she would not leave any message. I have a had a collections bureau call me before over a debt I did not owe, and told them that it did not belong to me. I'm not sure if this was the same company.

I forgot to add the phone number 646-312-7559. they called again today but I did not answer.

Just got call from same # I was not the person " stacia powers" was calling for but was able to get some personal information from her and did record call. Sent # to DA of New York and to BBB.

Husband answered phone even though I said not to, cause didn't know the number. Then he tells me to come to the phone cause they were asking if I knew a certain person but I am not sure what they were saying about why they needed to know. After I answered they hung up on me. I tried to call back and it just goes to a recording to leave a message.

These people have called me for the passed couple days and I have no idea why. I never answer only because I neer answer to strange numbers. Is there anyway to get them to leave me alone?

646-312-7559 NEW YORK called me today looking for someone who could "accept legal information" for [my father's name]. I was told legal action was being taken against him in the state of VA, where he resides. However, they could not give me any other information than a phone number they said he was supposed to call to find out "more about the court case that would be held without his participation if he did not respond by the time the stay on the case expired at 8pm". The phone number he provided was 888-246-4919 with "case number" JF1734. My mom thought it was a scam but called the number just in case and was connected to a "consulting firm" which informed her that the case number was invalid. This is a definite scam, please don't be gullible and fall for it.
