A "grentleman" stating that his name is "could not understand that either" from a supposed legal firm whose name I did not get either saying that my Social Security Number is under investigation. Yeah, right. Do they never stop? I just do not answer if I do no recognize the number. One of these times I may just answer just to hear the drivel and supposed "allegations."

I just got a call from that same number, stating to be from new york and threatening that if I was not to call him back was going to have charges proceeded and 6 months in jail for something i know nothing about says his name is alex jefferson from jefferson law firm

I got the same call glad to see I am not the only one that got it had me a little worried not I am just a little bit past mildly irritated

An Alex Jefferson called about a payday loan from cashnet. This is a big bother, he would  like to gather info, do not fall for these people.

Claims to be debt collector from payday loan that I did NOT have.  Threatening messages asking for attorney info. and saying "God Bless You and Good Luck".  Speak VERY broken english.  Gives Amercian/English name with STRONG middle-eastern accent.  ie: Officer Mark Reneiecen, Aaron Thompson, John Adams.  Threatening jail time, court fees.  Sometimes claims to be from "All American Financial" or "Federal Dept. of Justice."

He said his name is ron jackson from jefferson law firm. His english is broken and he sounds  middle eastern. He said i have serious legal alagations . i have no idea what he talking about.

got call today stating from Jack Smith Law firm and about a law suit against me....broken english..

Been getting these calls for over a year and in that time multiple names have been given, jackson and cooper just some of the more common. I just ignored them. they even called my job and kept insisting for me dont fall for them everyone here knows exactly how fake and unproffesional these calls are

Man with an Indian accent named "Mark Brown" has called me three times in the last 5 days and left voice messages for me (number when they call comes through as 0000 - suspicious enough) saying he is with a loan authentication/investigation company and a serious threat has come over my social security number and if i don't call him back to straighten it out he's going to call my references and work (no idea who these people would be or how he would get these numbers) and make my life very difficult in a threatening tone. Then told me if I did not call back he would take legal action against me (for what, i have no idea). Then he ends the call with call me back immediately... and have a good day. SCAMMERS. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY. My husband works for the FBI and is already looking into putting them under investigation. They are simply trying to get your account numbers and get access to your bank account.

When they call, lower your voice. then blose a whistle in the phone as loud as you can. Breaking their ear drum will be a start! :) Happy days !

You can also try to meet them. Seriously tell them you will meet them, and meet at the local address of the FBI, or down in Mexico and be their [***].
