Trying to sell a backbrace. The message claims I requested them to call.

"This is the information you requested from the t.v. ad" or words to that effect. B.S. nobody here called about or needs a back brace. Get an HONEST means of employment, leave us alone!

Called today at 12:29. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.

I had same message in VM. No, I have not requested any back brace that is fully covered by my insurance. CI says New York, NY . Scam caller.

Thank you to those who indicate why the call was made. This number called my landline but is blocked immediately after the first ring. It never gets to voicemail because it's blocked so I never know the reason. I would not have answered it anyway. The first tip off is the caller ID name is the same phone number that shows up also.

I never answer. But  I have been called by them numerous times. They said they were selling back braces.

Blocked at 10:27 AM.  I know only one person in New York and that isn't her number :)  And from what I'm reading here, I'm glad I did.

Spoofed number, caller Id says New York NY, but it is likely a robo-called tie-line from a call center in hell. No one in our household ever responded to a TV ad about back braces. Besides, these fraudsters usually want a credit card up front "to expedite shipping," but will never fulfill the order.  If we needed one, we would go to a local medical supply store that is family-owned and gives expert service and very good prices. Blocked.

Thanks to all that post here - I checked here after getting a call this morning. Didn't answer; no message left - blocked the number.

Back brace  SCAMMER

Automatically blocked by my call blocker so it never even rings through as it is hung up on at first ring unless I program the number in to be accepted.  Anyway these scammers have been calling my number for a long time now using different numbers all with a 646 exchange.  Last year they were using other area codes .  They apparently are scammers

Caller ID: New York, NY.  Telescammer.

Called here this morning; we don't pick up. No message left. Have also had the back-brace idiocy from 646-517-7439. Yeah, they just change phone #s.

Yet another call from these scammers.  Blocked this number previously, yet they continue their calls.  So I threw their phone number into my Selective Call Forwarding account with my provider which gets forwarded to some other scam caller's number.  More wasting of their time!

This indian called and asked my wife are you lillian prince? Then my wife asked the creep who are you? Then he said never mind and hung up.

left a message--said returning my call for something I had ordered.  I haven't ordered anything.

Caller ID read 646 432 5488.  I know of no such entity...Must be a scammer of some sort...
