- Mark| 1 replyCold caller.
- Spring WallaceWas from an Investment Firm in New York. J.M. Bryant was the company.
- Caller: JM Bryant
- Annoyed| 1 replyI keep getting a call from "Brooks Ryley" from JM Bryant. Something like every two days. He leaves a message that gives his name and number (646) 449-7115 and asks to call him back.
He doesn't say what he's calling about or why I should call him back. - Annoyed in Texas replies to AnnoyedI keep getting the same voice message from J M Bryant 646-449-7115. Caller says his name is Brooks Rylie. Sounds like a stock trading sweatshop. He doesn't state his business, so he isn't getting a return call.
- Tom| 1 replyI've received about 5 messages from the someone using the same name. Today he said he was from Laidlaw, while the other times JM Bryant. I'm not inclined to call back since reading the other replies.
- Mike replies to TomThey called my work number just now. No one at the other end, so I looked it up and here you all were. Thanks for the info.
- AlexI kept receiving these messages from Laidlaw and Brooks Rylie and never returned a call. Finally decided to check and here I am

- Betty| 2 repliesEvery couple of weeks, we keep receiving phone calls from the same person, who does not want to leave his name, company name or phone number. Our company has a spy phone so I am able to jot down the caller's number. I recognize his voice and his message every time. I've been an executive assistant for over 25 years. Do you honestly think I don't recognize a voice or an unwanted solitation call? You'll have to go through me if you want an audience with my boss, that's NOT going to happen...and that's why I get paid the big bucks!

- Dee Marie replies to BettyI have also been an exec asst for many, many years. As my boss says, not much gets past the palace guard. I love when they ask me if there's a better time to get through to him. Let me think, uh, NEVER! I had one jerk who would call 5-6 times a day and just hang up when I answered. He had the nerve to ask me if I ever go to lunch, as if that would help him get through. Idiot--we have a receptionist. Do you think she hasn't been briefed! Get the hint already. You are never, ever going to talk to my boss.
- PKI have had the same thing going on for the past couple of weeks. Dan Kuhar keeps calling asking to speak to the CEO and mentions him by name. Every time I tell him that the is not avail. and if he wants to leave a message, he says no and wants to know when a good time to get a hold of him is. I told him this morning that his best bet would be to leave a message and I would give it to the CEO (not) or his assistant. He said that he would like it to go to the CEO - I told him that his assistant would handle it and if he felt he needed a call back that he would call....for goodness sakes...give up already!!!! ugh.

- KKMy boss forwarded me a voice mail he had from "Brooks Riley" with Laidlaw. I decided I'd have a little fun with them after reading this and called to see what they wanted, and of course, it wasn't to speak to me. "Brooks" himself answered the phone, but pretended he was someone else and asked if he could take a message for Brooks, I told him to take my boss off his calling list. He said they didn't have any lists and could he take a message. I repeated my message (2 more times). DUH!!! I know they will keep on calling, but at least I had fun with them, and they won't get through to my boss either! And Betty, I can relate to you! I have been the gatekeeper (as one boss called me) for many years. They think we are so dumb, but we know better!

- NCI get the same kind of call from Tim Behr. I have spoken to him. he will give you the ticker symbol of a company to watch...the one he gave me actually went up about $11 a share, then settled back a bit. Then he calls again with another ticker symbol but wants to know if you can get 10,000 liquid to invest. If not, he says..how about just $3500..anyway, it goes on and on and you have to hang up if you want to get them to stop. I agree with an earlier comment..this sounds like some kind of trading "sweatshop" like you see in all the movies. Comes across sleazy with fast talking, and a response for everything you say. www.laidlawltd.com

- BillySome dude named Chris called me about investments. No clue what he was talking about.
Mr. Henderson, what you've just said ... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. - DaveGlad y'all are posting - I saved the message in case it was a headhunter, but good thing i checked here. I'm getting calls from a Ryan Cornaccia at 646-449-7110 "at Laidlaw" so I'll ignore.

- Another Gate KeeperBoss received message from "Brooks Riley" of "Laidlaw". Did a search on his name, this page came up. Decided to return the call anyway. "Brooks" answered, put me on hold when I asked for him, then came back and said he had "stepped away from the trading desk". Told him to leave a message for Brooks to not call my boss back, not interested, won't speak with him. "Brooks" offered to put my bosses name on a do not call list. We'll see if that sticks.

- mikeHad the same [***] just now, they called me on my european mobile number, so they dont call just US people. The strange thing was he knew my name, told me something about if i am doing investments and if am working at IBM (what i dont do). Then he said oh then he has the wrong person and said goodbye. I know that such things happen to US phonenumbers but usually not to europeans... -- I got called from +1 6464497100, on the voice message he wanted me to call him back on +16465883126
