Left message that IRS is suing us!  Call blocked; obvious scammers!!!

This number just called me. I looked up as it was ringing, saw this , Thank you , and did not answer.  Then i blocked the number.    AN FYI   - The IRS will never call you.

Left message on my cell phone that the IRS is suing me. Call this number back immediately.

Said they were IRS and we're going to sue.

A recording said they were the IRs and they are going to sue...this was our final notice.   I call blocked the call.  The IRS does not call people.  This call was received in Baltimore, MD.  It was generated in New York, NY from 1-646-453-6181.

We got a call from a guy with a heavy foreign accent saying that there was a lawsuit against us by the IRS. After we questioned him further, he got nervous and said that we would be taken into custody later today. I told my husband it was BS. I think the caller overheard me and hung up.

Just got a recorded call from this number saying that the IRS was going to sue me and I needed to call back immediately.  I called back anticipating a scam and no one came on the line, just a recorded good bye and a hang up

I've got several calls from this number on my cell phone and home phone they all say same thing it's IRS and it's my final notice because I've not responded they are gonna sue...I actually called back and got msg saying I would be connected to next available agent and then line goes dead ??

Got a call this is number is a scam it is not the IRS mthese people will try to scare people into paying them rember use common sense  every one needs to report these calls to your local police or the real IRS so others don't get scammed.

my parents kept getting the irs message saying there suing them an all. ty ya for the info i knew it something it was up with it when i got on the phone an they blah blah i went over there heads telling them i know who u are an im coming get you. than the line went dead.

Same as the other reporters.. Recording saying that the IRS is suing and to call this number back.. Call came to my cell phone, did not reply  Obviously a scam as IRS does not call, they send you official mail.

Left  a recorded message in being sued by IRS.

I knew it was a scam but called back to see what they said..  Same as you..recorded message then hangup

Fake IRS caller.Please block this number

Caller says they are from the IRS and that the IRS is about to file suit on me. Since I'm a retired IRS employee I know this is a scam prank call.

Got home to find a message saying that this was my final notice from the IRS and that they were preparing a lawsuit against me.
Said to call back now...

I did not.

I recieved a call from the "IRS" telling me to call this number. They "informed" me that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and I was to be arrested, unless I paid over $3000. When i asked for documentation they refused to provide any. When I asked to speak to a supervisor with an english accent they refused and hung up. I followed up with my local counyy clerk of courts and the federal clerk of courts in Ohio who both confirmed that there were no lawsuits filed against me and agreed that this sounded like a scam!

Same thing. Left message saying iRS is suing and then when I called the number back it was a recording that disconnected almost immediately. Caller ID says New York. Number is 646-453-6181
