"Save on your energy bill" recording.

This people are calling and they are harassing me over the phone

Caller ID "V........" ... JAN 23 at 2:40pm Eastern time. This call was blocked after the first ring on my phone by a free service available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.

They left a message advising of a new non-narcotic pain compound, with instructions to either press 1 for shipment or press 5 to notify my healthcare provider that I was rejecting this offer.
I blocked the number.

Caller ID says AES. I didn't pick up, they let it ring but didn't leave a message.  My numbers have all been on the Do Not Call registry since it was first begun.  I am so sick of these constant, disruptive, ILLEGAL calls.

Reported to the FCC.  Time for major fines to be slapped on these companies who know full well they are calling in violation o f the Do Not Call registry...

In my case, I heard a recorded man’s voice say I could have a free Medical Alert pendant and $3000 worth of groceries. These cons just keep changing the phone numbers they claim to be calling from. I don't block a number unless I get at least two calls from it. I've made this a game of sorts. Makes it kind of fun. I do appreciate 800Notes, by the way. Thanks!

Reporting these people to any government organization is a waste of time since there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. You need to realize the VAST MAJORITY of these calls are originated outside the United States using internet VOIP technology which allows them to spoof the caller ID and make it appear the call originates from what appears a legitimate location. Thus, the government is helpless to prevent these calls. Of course the calls that do originate within  the borders of the US come from non-legitimate companies and therefore have no compunction about ignoring the law because they know the odds of being caught is miniscule.

I've ask many times to be taken off the call list. I donot want a medical alert system. I was assured that I would be taken off the list. Do ya reckon

got a call at 10;45 this a.m  was in hurry to get to work so grabbed phone and answered w/o ckg CID..recording said it was an 'alert for Senior citizens re' and I hung up.  wish these people on other end would get a decent job and a life....so sick of these calls & gov't can't do anything...pretty bad when these jerks can harrass us and call continually and our own gov't can't do a thing to them.....wish just once one would be a live person on other end of line so I could blow a whistle in their ear..better yet a bullhorn !!!

I would like to know how to block these #s from a land-line phone

numerous call hang ups ; annoyance : no time for this !   I also have a private / unlisted number

Panasonic DECT6.0 cordless phones have the ability to build block lists, may help
