They just called me.  I couldn't understand the company name when she said it, but she said they are a "marketing survey company".  She asked if I had time to answer a couple of questions.  I said, "No, could you take my name off your list?"  However, as soon as I said "no", she disconnected the call... literally, that fast.  I couldn't even finish my sentence before my phone was beeping to tell me the call ended.

I am on a do not call list.  Clearly, they don't care.  If I report them then I help the government grow richer, which I don't want to do, so I'll just deal with it.

I've had these (NY) people call me twice today (8:58 AM PST & 1:58 PM PST) but no one was one the other end. (Granted, I hang up after saying "Hello?" two or three times.)

They have called me twice today, first call I missed, second I let got to voice mail since I didn't know the number.  Neither time did they leave any messages.

Why do they call and then hang up? What benefit is this to them? Is it just to verify an "active" number? I never try to call these numbers back.

Received two calls today, one at 9:01am, the second at 1:53pm.  Left no message.  I, too, am on a DNC list.

They call me at least 3 times weekly.. I now have the number blocked through my carrier.. [***]!! I too am on the do not contact list..

Received calls from this number on 4/24/15 1:45pm, 4/27/15 9:57am, 4/28/15 9:14am, 5/1/15 2:19pm, 5/4/15 10:55am, and today, 5/5/15 10:08am. When I tried calling back, someone picked up but wouldn't say anything, so I finally hung up. I plan to block the number through my carrier.

Called me 6 times.
Never answered once.
They are persistent.

I heard a significant amount a background noise and the voice of a foreign woman calling for a person in my household who is now deceased. I asked her if she'd like me to take a message and she said some garbled words and the line was disconnected. I tried calling back to find out who was calling, as this number calls several times per day and received the "Sprint relay service" who said the number is invalid and that he didn't have any additional information other than that it was a VOIP number. They need to stop calling and scamming people.

Calls multiple times a day. I called the number back today and the person (a woman) answering immediately reads some script saying the number is not found almost like she's trying to sound like a recording. She claims she's with Sprint and the number is not listed. If it's not listed how did I call her on the number.

They have called me at least 6 times today.  The first time I answered, there was a long pause, then they hung up. I haven't even answered the other times. I tried to call them back, but I get the fast busy signal. We are a business.

Called me 5 times yesterday - I answered none of these and obviously no message left. I returned the call and after 6 rings got the message the caller is not available.

Called me again today and when I answered there was silence as I said hello 3 times and the line went dead.

Who are these people?!

I finally answered after several calls.  After a few Hellos, a man with an accent asked if I invested in the  stock market.  I said no and they hung up.  Pretty bothersome, I must say.  Of course they asked for the wrong person.

They are driving me crazy!  They call several times a day.  I am so sick of it.  After reading all the other comments, I am determined not to answer but they call at the most inconvenient times of my day.  I am not on a dnc list, but obviously they don't care.

Seems to be a robotic call machine. When I did answer, much like the others, I hear static then the call is disconnected. Blocked through my carrier, that seems to be the best solution.

i am getting way too many calls from this number....I do not answer the phone or return the calls.
They never leave a message.....must be a scam call of some kind.

I have received nine calls from this number in the past week alone.  They do not leave a voicemail.  I do not want to receive these unsolicited calls any longer.

Missed a call from this number today.  They did not leave a message.  I too am registered on the Do Not Call list.  does anyone know if there is a way to report violators?

They've called me once or twice a day (usually around 10 am and 2 pm) everyday for the past 2 weeks. I've never answered, and they've never left a message.
