    IRS Phishing Scam.  Received call Mar 01 2016 on my cell with voice message 'This is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you: To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department no 646-503-1368'.   Tried calling no but keep getting 'not available at this time, try again later'. Suspect scam, as nearly no one has my cell no.  Have BLOCKED future calls  from this no. on my cell.

    Received a call from the same number making the same claim. When I called back, someone with a thick accent answered claiming to be the IRS. Definitely a bogus scam.

    I knew this was a scam from the jump. I had already received my tax refund 2 weeks
    ago and then I got this bogus call today.

    Same. The IRS would never call. They do everything via paper to ensure a paper trail.
