I am getting 5+ calls a day from this number and I cannot figure out who it is.... they never leave a message, when I answer no one talks and when I call back I get nowhere..... MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!

I don't know who this is either, they call several times a day.  This morning I answered and asked that they not call me any more and the guy on the other end told me to shut up and then hung up on me.  He was a foreign guy but it sounded like he said Auto Loan Network

This number called me twice today and when I finally answered, it was a foreign guy asking for someone else.  When I said they had the wrong number he said "oh" and hung up????

I've received 3 calls today and when I answer, they hang up.  I called the number back from another telephone and a female answered with no business name.  I asked them what she was calling me about and she hung up.

Not only do they call me nearly everyday, they call me multiple times a day! Sometimes they even call me just to hang up. I have no idea where they got my number. They keep calling me Amber. I really don't know what's going on with them. And just like all the others have posted, the caller has a foreign accent. One other person has stated that they were called by the wrong name. Is there anyone else being called "Amber?" Because I have absolutely no idea where they came up with that name.

I just called this number and they said I was accepted for an auto loan and I told them I wasn't buying a car and asked them to remove me from their call list, and they hung up. He had a foreign accent. He said he was from Auto Loan Network.
Sounds like a call center making cold calls.

I received a phone call yesterday and that foreign guy on the other end was shouting profanities at me when I said I didn't apply for a loan. I googled the number and it is a cell number out of New York City. I didn't understand what company he said he was from. I thought he said Ameriloan. That I know is a scam, I googled it also.

I receive calls from this number also and he is a foreign guy.  He says I applied for a loan also, which I haven't and he threatens me by saying i will be in big trouble and they will come to my home and that there will be federal charges pressed agains me.

Same thing here.

Also, have started to get text messsages.    

What is the recourse on this?

This number has called my cell phone 50 times in the last 4 days. I get Silence after I say Hello

got 2 calls today from this #, i answer and they dont say anything!!!

I have received at least 6-7 calls daily for 3 days. When Itried to call the number to see who was calling, a person said it was an International Call. When I answer the phone, no one speaks. Then I Googled the number and found out that others have had the same experience. It is very annoying and getting on my nerves. How can I get this Auto Loan Scam group from bothering me?

This number called me 6 times today. I would really like it to stop it is distracting annoying and quite frankly very rude!

Same as all too many calls. Call the police immediately. It is a serious scam report them.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are calling now...and the phone has been ringing non-stop for about 7 mins!! I don't have VM on this number so it's ringing non-stop....it seems they just hit re-dial!!! They call EVERY frigign day, multiple times a day!!!! But today is the worse it has ever been...I've never had them call repeatedly for a straight 7 mins!! I have no outstanding loans and all my accounts are up to date. What the frig!! So effing annoying!

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. IF you can get the caller's name, which is difficult through the accent, then you can list their name as the contact person.....I've been getting calls from these people for the past 4 months.....I finally filed a complaint with the FBI as well.

Two calls today-4-24-10. I have voicemail and callerID. they don't leave any message. I think I'll call the FTC or the FBI on Monday.

Hey guys i got the same messages. All you have to do is tell them that you will give their number to the authorites and file for harrassment because calling a person multiple time such as 5 to ten times is harrassment. My advice to you all who've been bothered by the non sense. It is a scam because there is no such place that tranfer youyour information to lenders for loans. Only brokers to that and I would advise you to go to a local brokarage firm. Ever since i made that statement to those guys they stop calling my phone. People out there, if there number shows up on your phone take it to the authorities and explain to them what is going on and plus show them this website so that these individuals can pay for attemping to ruin peoples lives by collecting their personal information.
