Received a call from this number. Rang 3 times. Didn't leave message. Anyone know who/what this is?

Called and left no message.  Caller ID says "New York, NY".  Another useless spammer/scammer.

I only answer calls from people I know.  If I don't recognize the number I pick up the phone and blow my airhorn into it :)

Answered, they said they were returning my call about a back brace as seen on TV.  Total scam.  I made no inquiry about anything. BLOCKED

NO, that's drastic.  Don't hurt their ear!

Robocaller about the back brace commercial I called about.  Pure criminal activity.

Said they were calling Medicare recipients. Knew my first name. When I said I didn't get Medicare,they hung up.

They called about the brace as seen on the commercial, knew my name. I do not have TV, so knew it was a scam. I am on do not call list.

I lifted receiver and said nothing, the robo caller said they were returning my call about a back brace.  LIARS.  I did not call and request anything from anybody.  Is there no way to stop these calls??????

Scammers use the "you called us first" lie as a way around the DNC list. Apparently this group and others like them use 440-252-9409; 851-381-3266; 646-217-4919; 718-475-6404; 646-517-7364; 585-672-6858; 718-475-6471 and many other numbers to call.

Just now called here.  Third phone from three different numbers today from some sort of scammer, sure makes me want to get rid of a landline.

Caller ID says "New York, NY".  My phone system automatically blocked the call.

Call from above phone number on 03/16/17 @10:30am. Didn't answer. Half way thru my answer machine message, they hung up. I do not answer unrecognizable phone numbers.

Called at 12:30 PM.  Caller ID said "out of area", so I didn't answer since I don't know anyone with that name.  Thanks to those who posted about the back brace scam.

This is the one with the recorded announcement that the call is the callback I requested in response to a tv ad for medical back brace.  After two or three dozen such calls from differing numbers, the devil made me press "1" to speak to an agent.  Said agent answered in mildly accented English in the immediate proximity of at least two bawling children and inquired as to whether or not I was the person suffering pain.  I told her that I was calling on my own behalf.  She then asked me where I hurt.  I told her that I didn't really hurt but I was very [***].  That's as far as we got today but they'll call again.
