I just got a call from it. I work 3rd shift and am relocating. So I am searching for jobs as well. It makes me really mad when I am trying to sleep and somoeone calls with no response.
I recv'd a call at 3:11 pm from the same nbr. I answered and there was no response. I also have my resume on hotjobs, monster, and other job search sites. Very strange. I won't be answering anymore calls from numbers I don't recognize. I will just let them leave a voicemail in the future.
Just got a call from this number. I believe it is realted to a job search site that is a scam. Career Network & Real Careers Now are 2 of the many names they go by. It's a supposed "career" website that links you with potential employers - like Monster does. However, these sites do not send your information to anyone but their telemarketers and marketing teams. Oh, and they also ask SPECIFICALLY for your cell phone number and carrier. I thought nothing of it at first. Now, I haven't gotten one call from an employer, but a bunch of calls from crazy random numbers. I don't know who or what they are, because I never answer them and they never leave a message, so I can only assume its crap. I recommend removing yourself from any job sites that won't just let you upload a resume. They're all scams. Keep an eye on your phone bills!
I got a call from this number, I never answer odd numbers Because I'm looking for a job where I live, Thank you to the person who said career networks now I know why and who it was from and will start googling all numbers
I live far from N.Y.C. and this number is from N.Y.C. When I noticed that I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer it. These calls have been really annoying.
I got it too. No one nor an automated voice spoke, I just kept saying hellooooo and nothing from the other end yet we were still connected. I eventually hung up. I'm going to be checking my cell bill. I put my resume on a career site, and now I'm going to take it off. Sickening.
I got a voicemail stating that it was a call regarding my resume. I didn't answer the phone due to not knowing the number. It was an automated answer that did not state the company.
I got a call today around 5 pm. At first it was an automated thing about a job application so I stayed on the phone then a guy named Collen came on the phone and started asking if I want to futher my education to get the job that I applied for like 3 months ago, so he gave me a number to call for an online college and when I didn't call it he called back with a restricted number and when I didn't answer he called 3 times after that until I answered again then he asked why I didn't call that number and when I would be calling that number. When I told him that I would be dealing with a local college the call than ended.
They called me yesterday from Employment Select regarding a Teachers A**. Position. She asked me first for my phone number to pull up my resume. Once she pulled it up she asked me if my address, phone number were still the same. Where was I working my position there and if I was still interested in the position and I said yes but once I asked for the company or school name she said it was confidential. I told her I was checking the BBB to see if it their company was a legit company because I been getting emails from different places but once you click on the link is the same scammers but with different names. I Google the phone number and I found this page. Here are some sample of the emails I received. I blocked them already
