Bogus caller stating he is a collection representative demanding payment for an unpaid internet loan.  The caller requested letters from the bank authorizing him acces to bank accounts to withdraw payment.  Caller then called back representing himself as a law enforcement officer acting on behalf of the collection agency stating that an arrest warrent would be issued unless payment was made.

DO NOT GIVE THIS CALLER ANY SENSITIVE INFORMATION.  IT IS A SCAM>

This same caller has called me as well and I dont appreciate I will forward to the local attorneys

I have been receiving calls from a number 60090408...They are of middle eastern descent and claim to be The United States Federal Department of Crime and Prevention. The man identifies himself at Raymond Watson and/or Sam Watson. This man has all of my personalinformation, including my bank account numbers, my families name and phone numbers. They are contacting several of my friends and family. I have been threatened to be arrested, to lose my job, to have my social security number cancelled and to take me to court. I am not an idiot so I questioned everything he said. When I ask for verification of debt, he told me that he was not allowed to mail anything to my physical address. His most recent call was this afternoon - I advised him that I was with my attorney and he was on speaker phone - he immediately hung up. However, less than 5 minutes later he calls again as Senior Legal Attorney for the "Crime and Prevention Fraud Department" This time I ask him if he had ever googled the phone number he was leaving for a return call...needless to say, he hung up on me again. I have saved a voice mail that he left with all of his threats but am unsure of what to do with it or if it even matters...

I received a call and voicemail from this number, 646.578.8884, on September 27, 2010 at 15:25. The individual identified himself as Officer Mark Brown, and said that a friend or family member had used my name as a reference, and had committed a "criminal offense with a financial company."  He said that I am now "part of a legal mess."

This individual could barely speak English, so I am betting that his real name is not Mark Brown.  I am not returning his call.  I googled the number and found your posts.

I have been getting calls from this number with gentlemen stating their names are Kevin Thompson, Max Clinton, Mark Brown, and Jack Watson. Voices sound the same and they say they are an attorney then the next time they call they say they are an officer. They call me all hours of the day I have even recieved a call at 2am. I am sick of him I have told him he thinks i owe money take me to court per my attorney. I work at a lawfirm with 11 attorneys and were investigating ourselves.

I am on the phone with an attorney who stated his Justin Cooper. I'm on the phone with him as I am typing this. They definitely have a strong middle eastern accent. So much that I couldn't understand the phone number they left on my voicemail. They are trying to tell that I have payday loan from cash advance and will owe over $500,000. Lol! I did apply for a loan through cash advance but got denied. I told them not to call my job number or my cell number anymore. He told me that he was going to send an investigation team to my job  and to my home. Then he hung up on me. Please let me know what information you find on them because this ridiculous. I'm going to contact cash advance also and let them know that these people are calling on there behalf.

They CALLED ME LAST NIGHT BUT DIDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE.  WE NEVER ANSWER UNLESS SOMEONE DOES SPEAK ON TRHE ANSWERING MACHINE FIRST BECAUSE OF ALL THE CLOWNS WHO CALL NOW.  gLAD YOU GAVE THIS INFO THOUGH.  IT WILL HELP SOMEONE ELSE KNOW THE THREATS AREN'T REAL AND THEY DON'T HAVE TO WORRY (IF THEY DON'T OWE A DEBT THAT IS).

Just got a call from this number from some guy named Sam. Said he was from the US Student Loan Department and that I had been chosen to get a $15,000 grant. I said no thanks, not interested and hung up while he was still talking. I know it's a scam.

spam called with india or middle eastern accent, asked for a girl could not understand what he said, Told im he had a wrong number and he hung up.

Got several calls from that number but they would hang up as soon as we picked up phone

Got a call from this same number at 12:17pm on Dec 11, also I think the number might relate to this one 7607058888 as well. I get these calls couple weeks ago as well. But no one answer, and when I say hello they hung up immediately. So I advise not to speak first when you receive calls you don't know.

Thats strange,  I just got a call from a guy with this number sounding indian or malaysian saying that I won 15k. the caller ID said it was from new york but the connection was horrible

I just received a call from this company trying to obtain information about medical conditions of people living in our home... Beware of these people and do not advise of them of what conditions someone in your home may or may not have... This is between you and your healthcare provider.

On my cell phone-with repeated calls. I did not answer then programed that number in my directory as "Fake Scammer" The next time they call my caller ID will show"Fake Scammer" I also have Ooma Telo and it can be programmed there to send out  disconnected number tone when they callCheck out Ooma. I do not work for them in any form. I am a user of their services for 3 yrs. I have no problems with them and I highly recommend. Monthly fees are under $5 a month but the initial start up costs of the unit itself is probably more than most people can come up with these days. I have saved $400.00 and more . Well worth you to check it out.

These people won't stop calling. They're a scam.
