Received a phone call from someone who wanted to make me feel like he was a long lost buddy.  The NY accent gave me a clue that this was form some phone solicitation boiler room asking em if I remember talking to him last month or if I remember seeing materials he sent me...etc.
Whet a loser!

I got 7 calls from this guy. Same NY accent. Wanted to know if I remember him. He said he sent material. Wanted to know how I invested. Etc.....

Then gives me a tip. The tip doesn't pan out (I didn't invest of course). His next call references another stock that he did give me but had great performance. He claims credit for this.

Then wants me to invest in a Dubai fund. Blah, blah, blah....

I tell him that I am using another stockbroker (2 actually) and he hangs up on me mid sentence. I called back but it's busy.

This, I think is a sham....Be careful.

Received a call today, same NY accent - I asked him his name and he said Chris Thomas. He asked for my husband by his first name as if he knew him.  He hung up when I told him my husband was not available.

Received a call today from this number asking for the owner by his fist name.  I was not able to understand him so I asked him to repeat himself.  He sounded like he was in a call center.  The owner does not like to talk to these people so I asked his name and he spoke fast and mumbled. I again asked him to repeat himself and he said "you should f***ing listen" and said his name was Ivan.  I said excuse me!  He said "excuse me, didn't you hear what I said, f***ing listen".  I told him he was pretty brave when he knew I would not be able and he hung up before I could finish....

I also keep receiving call from this guy. It's so obvious when you hear the NY accent...all I do is tell them owner is not here and they lose interest and hang up. BUT I would like to know what company the call is coming from so I can send an e-mail telling them I'll report to Attorney Generals office if they don't STOP. I'll have to ask more questions next time they call, but it will have to be on a day where I feel like handling some agression, UGH!

sounds like the same guy - gave my secretary a very hard time today, and would reveal absolutely no information about himself or his firm.

A man with a NY accent asked for the owner about an investment.  He said my boss was expecting his call.  I screen all calls. He spoke fast so I could not catch his name or business. So I told him that my boss was unavailable and asked repeatedly for his business name and number and that perhaps there was something I could do for him.  His response was creepy-sexual.  I hung up.

We keep receiving calls from this guy as well.  He is extremely rude and starts using profanity.  When I try and call the number back it states my call can not be completed.  Who can we report this to?  This jerk is making my blood pressure rise.

I got a call and when he asked for me and I said speaking, he HUNG UP!

Dec. 18, 2009 at 10:05 AM Central time Phone #1-646-708-9600 called to speak with someone who has been dead for 24 years.  He just thought the company name was the name of a live person.  When I asked to take a message he said his name was Irvine with Andrew Carrey. He was very presistant to speak with the name he was asking for. When I asked him what the call was in reference to, he said stocks.  I told him no one would be interested and that he was waisting his time.  He replied "Well I will shove it down his throat".  WE HAVE TAULKUMENT, ITS RECORDED!

I too received a phnoe call from this number this morning. He asked for my boss (the owner of the company) by his first name. When I told him he had not made it in yet he said "can I have his cell number", I said "no because he is on vacation" and he hung up. What an idiot!!!!

Received call from 1-646-708-9600. The guy asked for my husband by the first name. I thought he was a business associate. When I asked for the caller's name. He said Chris Thomas. Since I didn't recognize the phone number or name I told him my husband was not available. He hung up. This guy calls regularly. How can we stop these calls?

Recieved a call twice from 646-708-9600, asking to speak to my husband.  When I tell him, he is not available, the first time he just hung up on me. Today he just said he would try back, and then hung up the phone.
He did not even give me the chance to ask who was calling.

Anyone w/ info about this caller...PLEASE post, I would LOVE to report him to the Attorney General's Office!

I received numerous calls from this guy too. I'd love to get hold of him and ... Let me know if anyone knows how to hurt him

I get calls during the day from this guy. He asks for my husband by name. I always recognize the accent, but I always ask who's calling? The first time a few sentences were exchanged before he cursed me out and hung up. Now he just hangs up as soon as I ask Who's calling. Who is this guy and how do we put a stop to him? He just called here a few minutes ago.

He called my office twice today.  Asked for the director by name.  The director was out and I have the caller the option of calling back in an hour.

He promptly called back, reached me again, and I offered our director's private number.  These are my instructions.  First, I did ask him to identify his company, and he just mumbled his name again, which was "Robert," and then something undeciferable.  

I accidently gave him the prefix to MY private number, than said, "Oops, that's my number.  Sorry...."  He said, "I'll take that, and call YOU back."

This jerk calls our office at least once a day, asking for the owner. When I offer to take a message, he says he will try back later. When I insisted on taking a message, he hung up on me. Call back to 646-708-9600 goes unanswered. next time he calls I am just hanging up.
