Called and I didn't answer. Womever left a recorded message about student loans which I do not have. I promptly blocked the number.

This number is being used (spoofed) by a collection agency in an attempt to get "us' to answer the phone as we are not answering calls from their published phone number.

Called me about Obama student loan. Dumb me fell for it until I got an email. Pretty much they asked me info on student loans and my email I used to create my student loan account. Than they got access into my account to see "how much loans" I had out so they could tell me what % loan forgiveness I qualified for .... Than I got an email that they accessed my account and changed my FSA ID. I hung up on them and called the federal loan company asap to get this fixed!

They called my cell number - I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number - they did not leave a message

This number seems to be passed around collection agencies. This morning I got a call from Credit One that was using it. I tried calling back and it's already been disconnected. Like another commenter said - this is a spoof number. If you don't answer calls from one number they start calling from another in the hopes that you answer. Reject this number.

Didn't answer as this was an unknown number, didn't leave a voicemail. Suspect SPAM, especially after reading through other comments

An unwanted call from this New York City cell number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, a recorded message with a female voice stated that I was eligible to have my student loans forgiven.  This came as a big surprise, since I paid off my last student loan more then 30 years ago, but robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) wouldn't necessarily know that.

Whether it is a student loan scam, a credit card scam, a free vacation scam, a solar energy scam, a computer repair scam, an IRS scam etc. etc., a scam is a scam is a scam (to paraphrase a famous 20th century poet).

DON'T BE HOODWINKED BY THESE TELECRIMINALS.  LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.

Got a call on my cell from this number today, caller ID said New York, NY. Idk anyone in New York and I don't answer call from numbers I don't recognize. I suspected it was a call from some BS telemarketer and after checking this site it runs out I was right. Added this number to the block list.

Been getting calls from this number and another everyday at 10 am for a week.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know and they never leave a message.
