Scam call as if you owe money to IRS, so they could be your attorney for a fee of course. Person speaks with heavy Indian or Pakistani accent. Sounds quite aggressive, threatening arrest by my local police.

I also received a call from this # got almost the same description pretending to be from the FBI crime investigations Dept, threatened my mom as if owes money to the IRS In back taxes. Claimed our local precinct will be informed & take her away into custody. Also had a heavy Indian - Pakistany very heavy accent.

my mom got same call today saying they are from FBI crime investigator dept and will call poilce who will arrest her unless he she pays $1040 dollars or they will arrest her. i called FBI they told me its a scam.  number 646-766-1299.  people who are doing it I will catch you because you cause my mom to stress for no reason and you wasted my day for investigating this.

Got a call yesterday 2/12/2014 3:49pm from 646-766-1299 from "officer" David something... From federal crime investigation department regarding a complaint against me & my identity which is currently under investigation. Same heavy accent with a noisy background. The caller demanded to call back or risk being responsible for further action taking against me and to call "us" back as soon as possible.

I got the same call. Very heavy accent and hard to understand.  The caller ID number is not even a working number.  I tried calling him back to give him and no answer.  Crazy scams!!!!

Received a call also today from so called Gary Osborne to call him back at the same number 646-766-1299 to call him back as soon as possible because there is a criminal case against me.  Man had very heavy accent.  This is a scam people, everyone should report this.

Says law enforcement folks will arrive at your doors in 30 minutes. Tries to scam you into wiring them money.

Got a phone call from this number yesterday too.
Indian/Pakistani person Mr. Whateverthefck said I owed money to the IRS and I need to pay asap or else in 2 hours the police will come to my house and arrest me. I told him I would love to see that. These people are absolutely ridiculous. I know in the local Indian community, lots would be scared and probably fall for this.
It's a sad society we live in.
