a hang up call from lower manhattan NYC

The caller said she was calling on behalf of IBM and when I asked her to repeat it, she said "International Business Machines, IBM" and asked me to verify my business address and the name of the company president. She gave me the address and name and when I said "yes" to verify, she thanked me and hung up.

Nearly unintelligible accent. The caller asked about an address that I haven't been associated with for several years. The radio station in question moved. The caller simply hung up after I confirmed that I was the person she was trying to reach.

Yeah, said IBM. She got the full name and number. Verified job title. And hung up.
Where these ppl getting this information from?

Got a call from this number. The caller ID said "NOVATEL". The area code traces back to Manhattan, however, there doesn't appear to be a Novatel office in Manhattan (as far as I can tell from the internet).

Didn't answer, 'cause I'd never heard of them, and I usually don't answer the phone unless I can tell who's calling.

Caller ID said NOVATEL, number 646-805-7925.  Said he was from IBM, and when asked again said the International Business Machines IBM.  Wanted to verify an employees contact info.  This employee gets a lot of spam, so wondering if it was related to that.

Got a call from this number this morning same name, Novatel showed up on caller ID. She was extremely difficult to understand - I tried 3 times then she said something about verifying address and I said no you don't need to - have a nice day
