Just got a call from this number. They did not leave a message. Shows the call from New York, possibly Bronx? Anyone have information on this?

These idiots simply dont stop!  They cannot speak a lick of english either.  Couldn't understand what the said really.  

I answered the phone, he asked me if I wanted a cash loan, I said no thank you, he hung up immediately.

Started calling me at 5:30am California time on my cell phone.  Said I was approved for an auto loan up to $40,000.  I stated that I wasn't trying to get an auto.  He said thank you.  I said wait I need to know how you got my information.  Then he hung up.

LOL, it is the same scam that has been run since about 2008 or 2009.  Here is what I know.  (I actually use to have and still have the same problem of them calling)  back in 2008 to 2009 they would leave messages saying that I didn't pay back a pay day loan or something like that, and that either myself or my attorney had best call them back, or else all they can do is wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me!!!...................I found it to be hilarious, but scary.  Hilarious because they have heavy middle eastern accents, so the threat just didn't cary as much ummph,  scary because who wants to be told they have a law suite against them.    I did a bit of research and I found that an online pay-day advance companies server was hacked.  I admit I was going through a rough time when the economy first took a dip in 2008.  I applied online and put in all my info (social included) however things quickly rebounded for me and I didn't have a need for a loan anymore.    Well these idiot scammers who are calling, went and hacked the online systems gaining access to hundreds of thousands of innocent peoples information..............................................If I were you the next time they call....................Go along with what they say, however the only info (real info you should give them is your name, only if they already have it)  If they ask for your address give them a bogus one (remember the idea of this is to extract as much info from them as possible)  tell them you are going to have your bank send them a cashiers check and ask for their address, or better yet, ask them where they are located because you were planning a trip anyways and this call just gives you an excuse to take a trip to (where-ever they are located) so you can hand the check in person.  Have fun with these idiots.

These idiots called me and I was able to glean some info. from them. By the way nothing has changed (heavy mid eastern accent)...she gave me a number to call 585-300-5908 for more information.....but I am very hesitant to call it....just thought I would put that number out there for what it is worth (probably nothing).  Evidently someone applied for a loan and used my number now I am getting the damn calls. She gave me the following info.

This number has called me 13 times since last night, including once at 5:14 this morning and every hour since then.  When I answer it sounds like a room full of people then just disconnects. When I call back it sounds like an Indian woman saying 'National cash advance, we are not available right now so please call back after some time'.  The mailbox is full.  I'm about to lose my mind with these damn calls.

called me at 4:51 am on a weekday. Indian accent - called from New York.Wahts to sell something.
When I call this number the mailbox cant accept any messages.

I got 3 calls from this number this morning while I was at work.  They didn't leave a message so I just came on here to see who it was.  Thanks for the info.  I'm not answering the phone if they call again.  I also am on the do not call list.

Just got a call and googled the number to see what's up..it just click answer on the phone wait till I hear something them click off...they'll get the message. I never answer a call I don't recognize the number...yup...I screen then.

Same as many others . Call at 6:40am. Hard to understand and sounds like crowded room. Sounded like he said "gas lawn company." Wondering if this is part of the target breach?

The Target Breach is exactly what I was thinking also!  I just got the call this morning at 8:12 am.  And have shopped at Target during that time period.......  : (
