I also got a call from this number today. (12/31/2011)  However, I think I know who it was.  After searching online for the area code, I read that 646 is in Manhattan and it is also used for cellular numbers. (Maybe the disposable type?)

I got the same thing as jjjjjjjjjj, and it really freaked me out because i don't even live near new york

I'm also getting text from this # and tried to call it back, but got the # is a none working # recording.  Has anyone else try.

Got a txt like 30 min ago from this number, not to be vile but it was verbatim, "I'm gonna [***] you with a rake" not that weird, I'm used to getting weirder.

Received text from this unknown number: "think before u speak"

I got a text from this number also. Here's how it went....
Them: Hey boy
Me: hey who's this
Them: how r u doin
Me: who is this
Them: Jenny baby, I want to suck ur d***
Me: F*** off

That seemed to work

Ok that didn't work, they said: why baby I love u long time

They texted..."Do you have poop long time?"

4 texts to my daughters phone and the first was random, but the next 3 listed me and my husband's name.  We called it but it said "not a working number"  Went to the police who are trying to research the origin.  I think its one of the fake numbers you can get on a lot of Cell Phone Apps   Either way, very creepy.

I got a text that said "I hope you get what you deserve". I haven't replied to it though, don't think I'm gonna:).

Yeah my girlfriend has been getting some very bad texts from that number. They create these joke apps where you can prank call people and such but all it does is allow people to harass you without getting caught. . .

i got a message from this number, saying that they wished we had made luv. i told them they must have the wong number. they texted back and knew exactly who they were texting and said that they luved me. i started to freak cause i was thinking it was an abusive ex-boyfriend. I want to know how they linked my name with the phone number because i dont post that stuff anywhere and its a privit number. How did they get it? luckly i have friends who google these things for me.

got a call from this number today. It said " I am watching you " and it used my name.  This is a horrible App.

I got a text message from this number: "I pray one day you will explain why you did that to me and make this right."  Researching this online= telemarket.  Sometimes they respond and sometimes they don't.  If you have ever participated in a contest via text, they got your number.  It's very easy to track your name from your number.

my sister has gotten the same kinda text using her name...
