I made a terrible mistake and applied on-line for "a" Health Insurance Plan quote.  Within one minute I had numbers calling my cell from all over the U.S.  I answered (by mistake) only one call.  It was from a Kerry at the the number above.  He said he was with U.S. Health Benefits and was offering me a special enrollment program with Consumer Assistant Services Assoc.  I, stupidly, listened and agreed to enroll using my VISA card. But, when he asked me for my SS # I hesitated.  He immediately (almost like this person was over his shoulder) turned the phone over to a "Bob."  Bob hung up aburptly when I said I would not give my SS# over the phone.  I immedicately called VISA and cancelled that card. Beware of those responding to your on-line inquires.  I'll never do it again!! They are still calling!!!!

The same thing happened to us.  My husband was looking for a less expensive insurance plan and like you, within a short minute of entering a cell phone number the calls started immediately.  The first night his phone rang 10 times in 10-15 minutes.  We did not answer the phone though because we realized what was happening.  Never again!

The same happened to me. They will not stop calling even when you ask to be taken off the list. it is easier to simply not answer. It seems as if the calls are gradually tailing off.

OYE!!! This has happened to me toooooo.  I have answered SEVEN calls in the last 3 days and EACH TIME, I ask them to please remove my number from their list.  I requested an ONLINE quote for insurance, which I did receive and now they won't stop calling me.

Next time, I'll use a fake number.

Same thing here!  I was searching around for more affordable insurance.  This phone number calls twice a day and only lets it ring 2 times and hangs up...never leaves messages when it goes to voice mail.  i have also requested them to remove my number from their list.  We will see if they do it.

Me too!  Don't answer the phone.  They will die down (after 3 months).  Good grief!

I have the same problems after applying for ins. and still get calls from 646-833-1291. At first I would ask them to take me off their list.  A few were polite, but the scary things is a caller from 321-281-5713, actually responded to me with a snotty, "well then why did you apply in the first place?!"  I told him he wasn't in a position to question my motive...then the scarry thing... He sarcastically responsed, "Yes I am, I have your SS#!" then hung up.  I am not sure if that was true, but it made me very uncomfortable.  Not sure even what to do or who to report it to.  Any suggestions?

The same thing just started happening to me...I went online looking for health insurance and put down my cell phone number to get a quote...they started calling me 5 mins after i requested the quote and they are still calling 3 days later...they are using 3 different numbers and are calling about 7-8 times a day from 6:00am until 10:00pm...wtf is there any thing i can do to make them stop????

This phone number is calling my phone all day even though i do not answer because I know who it is now.

They've only called me twice, it rings arounf 3 times then they hang up. If you ask to be taken off the list and they call again.  Tell them that if you get one more call you will be filing a Harassment suit.  They will stop then.  If they don't tell them the same thing.  If they STILL don't, follow through, file for harassment.  Then they'll definitely stop.  I've done that a few times and every company I said that to stopped with that call.

I got calls from the following 352-433-0085 407-299-8185 321-281-5713 352-502-4194 702-430-6203<----- a lot 646-833-1291 after some investigating i found out if you go to ushealthinsurancequotes.com and request they remove all your info and a request to all they gave your # to it will stop or at least it did for me. good luck
