This number kept calling me all yesterday and now today I finally answered and this lady on the phone answered telling me that my computer has been compromised or something. The cell conection was very bad, she also had a very heavy accent and it was very hard to understand what she was saying. She didn't give me her name nor the company she was working for i had to ask who she was working for and how they received my information, she then told me she claimed to have my computer ID number and she claim to be working with windows. After that she was very pursistant as if the question a was asking her where taking up some type of valuable time, all she wanted me to do was get on my computer and do something. All of it was very very sketchy I recommend not answering the phone this is obviously some type of scam please don't fall for it and please don't give them anymore information then what they claim to have. On top of that she didn't evey state my name not even once.

This number has called something like 8 times in two days. They never leave a message. I ignored many times and finally answered to hear a bad connection and lots of background noise but no one talking. Obviously some type of scam but no idea what.

A man that was very hard to understand because his phone was so full of static called me from this "New York" number and told me that he was from some company and I couldn't understand him. He said that my computer had been compromised and I needed to give him the codes to get in. I immediately told him never to call me again and hung up.

Guy called and claimed he was with micro soft. I took my time while driving to make him think I was doing what he was asking. Once he could tell I was doing nothing he hung up on me.  Prior to hanging up on me he told me to stick a knife in my a$$

I have also received multiple calls from these people.  They are trying to gain access to your computer!  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  This is a huge scam! They talk at the speed of light thinking they will get you in a panic and give them what they want.  Just hang up!

    Don't Answer It
Someone or something called from this number a couple times four days apart.  I was expecting contact from a company so I answered.  No one said anything after I said hello and then the call terminated.  I recommend not answering any unknown numbers even if you are expecting a call.  If it's important or legitimate the caller will leave a message.

This is the first time they called me from this number, but the same thing happened about 2 weeks ago from an unknown number. It was a 'technician specialist' they claimed asking about my computer. I said I did not have a computer and they hung up.

Got a call today on my cellphone.  Didn't answer but instead google'd the number to see this webpage.  My suggestion to those of you who continuously get calls from this number :   BLOCK THE NUMBER!!   Don't ever depend on DNC's to help you.   I do this whenever I see area codes show up like (347) or (646), for example.

Plus, if you're all wondering how they know your numbers, here's a question for all of you :

Have you submitted your resume to an alleged IT school or something?   That's how they find out what your number is.  Thankfully, on my resume, the only number I submitted was my cell.  Otherwise they would've flooded by home phone constantly.

I started receiving calls from this number about a week ago.  Finally answered and the connection was so bad i couldn't make out what the lady was saying thru the static but she had a very thick accent that would have been impossible to understand without having her repeat everything several times. I blocked the number and on the rejected call log for my cell phone it shows this number 8-10times daily! !! These people need shakabuku. (A swift spiritual kick to the head that alters ones reality forever) Block them. SCAMMERS FOR SURE!!

Man called said he was a Windows IT Specialist and my computer had been compromised, I asked him how he knew this and why would my carrier not be contacting me? He told me I needed to act fast and get a pen and paper he proceeded to give me my IP address. He told me to go to google a website because I needed to download something on my computer I again asked him how he knew this and my carrier wouldn't know my computer was compromised? He again very urgently told me to go to this Google app and download it. I then informed him my son is a computer IT Specialist and I will have him check out my iPad cause I doubt I could have a Windows issue since I don't have Windows on my IPad! Then hung up on him!

I was reading an article on the CBS News page about Jimmy Carters cancer. At the end there was what looked to be a part of the CBS News warning about comuter scams and how they had arranged to have your computer cleaned for free. Just push the button. I being the ASS I am p  ushed the button and got an instant e-mail from Speed Fix Tool offering as written to clean my computer for free. I said o.k. the next thing I know my computer wet off for 15 minutes. When it came back on th Technicion grade 3 told me there was over 10,000 thing wrong with mu computer that he coul fix. I said why did'nt my firewalls and system supplied by my ISP catch this plus I have Kaspersky. he said this is a very well known robber known by Windows who he works for to completely wreck my computer. The next thing I know he had my cursor jumping all over the screen. For 3 hours he worked then wanted $29.95 for taking so longI said o.k. and paid him through Pay Pal. I noticed my Kaspersky and my other anti virus icon were gone.T he next day I had been on line and had to leave for a couple hours,
when I came back I was in Safe Mode and nothing worked! Suddenly my savior appeared and told me that a software they put on my comp. warned them I was in trouble and he would have to get a Windows Engineer to fix my computer. Another 3 Hours and when he was done we argued because now he wanted $149.95 for the time spent to replace drivers on my comp.Again I paid him through a secure line and he said no guarantee! only for work that day. USA phone 1-855-432-0727
