left message with a very thick Indian accent ...

"I am "Nathan Davis" calling for "FCC" <-- really ... since when does Ferderal Communications call anyone ?? LOL ... said my wages were going to be garnished ... (that will be good trick, since I am not working), and to call back at same # 646-863-8625 ... and that he would pray for me ...

this same this is happening to me and a friend of mine this person is calling us meny times a day and night ... and today asked my friend and i (this in 2 differ calls & numbers) when we asked to have our numbers removed from there call list he asked us what our p**** was like if it was wet and pink ....

we just had a message from that # today..."Officer Johnny Marshum (sp?) Federal Trade Commision...we have a case against your social security number with criminal allegations....call to notify yourself"  He was foreign...sounded Middle Eastern

He just called my again 7:55 this morning on my house phone! Saying there was an arrest warrant for my husband. I told him come arrest him then and stop calling me and hung up! He called 10 minutes later on my CELLPHONE!! We got into it, i was busting him out and he started talking nasty !!!

This number called me with the same Federal Trade Commission story saying that I was having an arrest warrant issued but I could intercede and that if I paid them $390 they could pull the charges.  Something about a payday loan?  Funny thing is I have never had one!!!  Once I mentioned that my lawyer was notified and he was investigating he got very nasty and started cussing using some kind of farsi language, then he hung up!!  TOO FUNNY!!

Scam.... 6465436480 says their an attorney and you get $100,000 from a government grant....they went on my Facebook message board

Claims to be officer johnny marshal with fcc or ftc. Says there are criminal allegations against my social security number. And that i will be arrested if i dont call him back. Doesnt say what the allegations are. Leaves phone number 646-863-8625.

said he was an office from the Federal Trade Commission  Asked for my Husband. I said tell me what you want and he was like You are not authorized. I said mail him what you need. Hung up  they called back and left a voice mail  They are blocked

I received a call from (646) 863-8625, saying his name was Officer Michael Johnson with the Federal Trade Commission.  He said that a civil suit had been filed against my SSN and charges were being filed agsinst my SSN.  He told me to be a good citizen and call him back and that if I didn't call him back he would send officers to arrest me and that my SSN would be disconnected...what?  Then he ended the call with "Have a good day."  He had a thick Middle Eastern accent.  I'm not falling for these pranks!  I don't know how these people got my number, but I'm not calling him back.  I will be blocking this number from my cell phone, and I don't have a land line so they won't be calling that either.

Same deal.... Also, got one from a California number.

Well well well...I got a call from these same [***] clowns today saying they're from the Federal Trade Commission and they have a legal complaint against me.  Shockingly no one has shown up for a warrant for my arrest or sent any legal documents to my house and while I was at it looked on the FTC website to find their names...and guess what my fell citizens?  THEIR NAMES AREN'T LISTED ANYWHERE!  I sure look forward to calling the FTC and telling them this one!

Hey fellow citizens...I just spoke with the FTC and you can file a complaint about these two dopes with them over the phone...go to their website and call them up...strength in numbers...maybe we can get them sent back to the country they came from!!!

Any follow up ?  I received the exact phone call today.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with the FTC and investigating a complaint ??  WHat the heck is that about ?  Scam ?

**SCAM**
Initially I applied for a payday loan through a website. After being denied from the company I applied for, I then received a call from the company who portrayed themselves as Cash Loan USA. I then felt a huge red flag was drawn when they told me to send them 150.00 through a moneypak card. I did agree to it at first, but then became really sceptical, so I never called them back with the moneypak number. After this they began calling me 3-4 times a day. When I expressed my concerns about it possibly being a scam, he got aggressive with me and hung up the phone. Then I started to get calls from another number who now said that my social security number was flagged and that their were legal allegations against me, and if I wanted to resolve the matter, that I needed to make a payment of 100.00 by moneypak again. I tried to get more information about the situation, because if I owe you money I want to know what company I owe to and they would not give me this information. They just got upset that I was asking and starting getting nasty on the phone. They now portrayed themselves as being a part of the FTC, and called me on my work phone harrassing me stating that if I did not make the payment today, that I could be arrested and that police will be sent to my job. Then later today, they called my cell phone still trying to collect a payment, while I have talked to them multiple times they kept going by different officer names. Officer Carter first, then officer Jones, as well as a Senior Officer Thompson, but would say in the beginning of each call that they spoke with me earlier. They clearly were getting mixed up in their story, because everyone I spoke with sounded like the same person, who had a thick middle eastern accent. The most recent call I received, I had a friend answer the call because they keep harrassing me and she let them know that we know they are a scam and that we are going to be taking legal action, he then said he will be calling my work number tomorrow many times to get me fired. I decided to call them back so I can get the OFFICERS' badge number and when I spoke with the man who says he's officer carter he stated he will have the police sent to my work to come and arrest me and hung up the phone.

I received the same voice mail from Officer Michael Johnson, I couldn't understand him.  I did call and whoever answered the phone, did not answer FCC.  This person transfered me to Johnson, Johnson transfered to his Senior Officer Daniels, I think.  This person tried to get me to give them my social and of course, I did not.  He said it was regarding Legal action against me.  He kept asking me if I knew of this action, I told him I did not.  He said it was regarding me taking out a loan and never paying it back.  I told him that never happened.  He then asked me if I wanted a loan..hahaha.  I called back today and asked to speak to a fluently English speaking person, of course they didnt have one of those.

I also got a call from a guy with an accent who identified themselves as Officer Johnny Marshall? They asked for someone and I said they had the wrong number. He asked how long I had the number and I said for a while and repeated they had the wrong number. He then proceed to say super disgusting and perverted things. What a jerk.

I have a person calling me all the time at work, saying they are Michael Johnson with the Federal Trade Commision with a legal action against me. Gave me a case number and said he will be calling me again. He is all the time calling my work never once my cell phone though. But I'm tired of this man harrassing me at work. What do I do?

A girl in my office is getting the EXACT same type of calls and has been since last Friday. These clowns are typng up every phone in the department - they appear to be using a multi-dialer, then once the connection to an extension in the office is made, they put the call on hold. We've just been hanging up on them when they come in (the numbers are disguised but always show up the same when they call back). What makes it odder still is the calls stopped when we finally put one of the calls into a voicemail.

Does anybody have ANY lead as to who these idiots are? They al sound either Mid-Eastern or Asian.
