Got a call from this number, and it appears to be some collection scam. The man who owns this number name is "ALEX", he has some kind of accent. he left a treathening message saying that if I do not return his call he will wish me good luck.  I called back with my number blocked and he answer saying hello this is ALEX, so be carefull this is a scam. Any legitimate collection agency has to have a protocl on how to handle calls. This is a cell phone number from someone who lives aparently in NY.
I will report this number ASAP.

I have received a very ugly and threaten call from an Alex Paul from 646/873-6460. Stating that if I do not return his call today legal actions will take place and I would be arrested from my work place. He has as well called my work number and left a message with our answering service in regards to this matter very important. I called the number back and have talked to Alex who I advised that he is not able to disclose any information. I keep calling and he keeps hanging up on me. I will turn this call into the police today. Yes he does have an accent and is in the state of N.Y. I don’t understand the call at all.i have advised that i have never received any letters to this matter.. also i have called CashNetUsa in reagards to this and i have spoken to agent Velinia who has confirmed that i do not have a loan or every did receive a loan from them and did state that this is a scam and they have her of the office of cyber and is going to transfer me to their legal department to form a complaint so they do have records of my call. i will present all this to the police dept of signal hill for assistance.

I received a call from this number but the man (assuming the same guy) called himself John Porter and claimed he was a case manager for some law firm McDaniels........  Said I had legal allegations filed against me for fraud by the company he represents and he needed the name and phone number of my attorney.  I asked him who he represented and he said "Cash Loans" but gave me no further information and said I would get that information in the legal papers I would be receiving at my residence or my work in 2 hours.  I gave him my attorney's name and phone number no other information and then called my lawyer and told them.  They were familar with this guy and were very happy to wait for his call.  Don't even pick it up, let it go to voice mail and delete it.  This guy hacked information from CashNet site and probably others as well.  He may have a NY number but it's a cell phone and it may not be in NY.

This idot (Alex) also called me.  Do not fall for this, it's a scam.  I work for a law firm
and this is not how civil actions are handled.

I received one too! This guy is full of crap! DONT PAY!!!

I received a call from john saying i owe then money and in one hour they was going to arrest me at my work place or home .when start asking question they they hung up on me. when called again the number would not go through. call on cellphone they wanted to know what i wanted and then hung up will not answer.Never mess with a lady that was sleep and be waken up with bull stuff like this.

I got a call from this guy about a year or so ago and then again tonight.  Same thing. Very threatening telling me that if I didn't return his call within 2 hrs that the police would be at my  job ( he stated my place of employment as well as the last 4 of my ss#).   He 'wished me luck'.   I called him back with call block and he hung up on me.   I have reported to my attorney.   Will also report to local police.   Total scam!

On July 27, 2011 I got a call from this number.  The caller who had an accent left a lengthy voice mail that initially terrified me.  He stated I need to call him back immediately because If I did not call back I would be arrested from my home or work.  He goes on to name 2 people who are indicated in this made up crime of check fraud I committed.  I have no idea who the other 2 people are that this person named.   He indicated that if I called back and deal or settlement could be made to prevent me from going to jail.    I called the number back and the phone just rang and no voicemail picked up.  After trying a few times he called me back and told me that he needed me to listen.  I tried to ask him questions and challenge what he was saying, and when he realized he could not shut me up by verbal intimidation, he hung up on me.

Got a call from John Porter saying he worked for CRS all the same allegations and threats. Said to set up payments on my debit card. Anyone else get this call?
