Called my cell. Sounded drunk an rude an a real ASS!!!!!!!!

This person said he was with the IRS and I said that the IRS does not call people.  He said yes they do and said it was about tax fraud.  He had information that he should not have had.  Then he wanted to know how much I wanted to pay.  This is totally bogus.  Do not give him any information.  The IRS does NOT do business like this.  I am reporting it to the IRS and also to the FBI

same thing, said they were from the IRS, and god help me if I don't call them back

Paul just called me and left me a voice mail. He said if I ignored this call, it would not be good. I called him back and he said he was from the IRS. I said "you are not the IRS". He said he was but he needed to talk to my friend. I told him not to call me any more.
My husband, Lee, called him and Paul answered the phone "This is the IRS". Nothing fishy here. My husband said "You are not the IRS" and hung up.
Then Lee called him back in an Australian accent asked if he was the one who ordered the pizza. Paul mumbled something incoherent, and then said "M@$%^R F*&%#R". It was completely satisfying. I love my husband.

Part 2: My husband just called the same number again and asked to speak to Lois Lerner. The young man said "who? There is no one who works here named Lois Lerner." He then hung up on my husband. There you have it.

Got a call from this number.  Eric Foster is the name he left on voicemail.  A bunch of blah blah blah in a weird voice.  Just tried to call back.  Phone just hangs up.  BS scam.  

Had a missed call this morning & a voicemail. My caller ID said "New York, NY 646-918-5893"

Message said he was Officer Eric Foster saying I or my lawyer needed to call back or "it will be on me". Very threatening tone. Strangest accent I ever heard. Did have a NY accent but also foreign. I called back & someone answered saying "IRS". I hung up & immediately remembered hearing complaints & news reports of fake IRS people calling & intimidating people over the phone to give them their SSNs. I may file a police report, just not sure it will do any good.

I got a very similar message, I couldn't make out his name it was either Officer Barry or possibly Eric Foster.  His accent was very thick and odd.  "the issue at hand is very time sensitive and don't try to disregard this message, either I should call or have my lawyer call back." I did not call back. The number he left was 646-760-5570
