This woman is running a subleasing scam. She will come across very nice and normal in person and will have you sign a lease and run with your money before move in date. She will lie about her current situation and her mother dying (untrue) and every week she will find a new excuse as to why she doesn't have the money.

used to know this girl....she's "borrowed" money from many women i know and promised to double it for them with her "investments".  They've never seen their money again.  also goes by nicki cook, nicole taisarsky, nicole cook.  her wealthy mother lives in South Carolina, and pays for her phone, car, etc, so phone # is usually a s.c exchange, thought it used to be a CT #.  203 area code.  BEWARE...she is very sweet and deceitful and will make you feel like you are her best friend.

Well, I guess I should have googled her before I let her into my circle. She scamed me and my family and the truth came out a week before christmas. She owes near $1300 on a subletting scheme here in Charleston, sc.
She seems very kind and truthful. Don't believe a word she says. She'll say a parent dies; or use her kids. She'll try and pay in jewelry.

You are not alone! I am part of a group of friends who have all loaned this woman money over the past couple of months - same things as subleasing scams and double back "investments" - and we are banding together to try to stop her! She also goes by Nikki and she WILL make you feel like you are her only guardian angel!

really, this is a serious manner. the sexual comments are unnecessary. many have been taken for a great deal of money. typically, her target are as described and generally people she knew from the past, whether she found them on facebook or through her jewelry  venture...they tend to be intelligent, white, females that fall for her single mother down on her luck . i am aware of some subletting schemes. yes, she does fit all the criteria above and then some. apparently, she has hopped across the country with her young son pulling numerous cons. not only should she be jailed but her son put in the custody of a loving responsible person that can properly care for him. i am not angry. i am saddened that someone could ( obviously, mentally ill- though i should not give her that excuse at this point she has a million of them) could take advantage of nice folks that want to give someone else a leg up during difficult times...many of which are struggling themselves. they were not looking to make a fortune...just help a person out...times are tough. we are ready to stand up for our rights, her son's rights, and take this to the justice system. enough is enough. sick in the head you are nicole...shame on you. pregnant with another woman's husband's baby...i think not. tisk tisk. you run, nicole...people are watching...your parents know...you have no where to go. you may as well come clean or you are looking at hard time in prison. hundreds are want your head on a platter. in your words "karma is a [***]".
PAY THOSE YOU STOLE FROM. OR MAYBE JAIL TIME WILL DO YOU SOME GOOD. YOU NEED SERIOUS HELP EITHER WAY. YOU ARE OUT OF CONTROL.

Fact 1. The person`s phone number is listed why not just speak to her and figure it out.

Fact 2. Its one thing to have Debt it is another to attack someone`s character.

Fact 3. This is Slander / Defamation of Character and those are held accountable in a court of law as well.

We all agree that the sexual comments was far from called for; however, the other 2 pages of comments bring question that this woman is a liar; cheat; and con artist.  It's only slander if it's not true.  So far i have yet to hear anything good about this woman. Don't worry, the powers that be will be called.

No its SLANDER when you purposefully set out to damage someones name and reputation. Defamation of Character..look it up, completely punishable by law as well. As I said, one thing to owe DEBT..that is a CIVIL ISSUE..take her to small claims court and get a judgement against her. Try to run a smear campaign and it will only backfire. You won`t be repaid and you will be held accountable for ALL of your words. Just because someone has a PAST doesn`t make them who they are today. Have none of you NEVER made a mistake in your lives? Cast only stones if you yourself are PURE. And again, you haven`t heard anything good about her?...consider the source of which you judge her.

I, too, tried to help out someone I thought was a friend.  Luckily, I didn't loan her too much and she did pay back a little.  It has now been several months and I know I won't get the rest of my money back.  I have had many broken promises from this "friend".  Now I realize she is full of crap.
