- Lilly| 12 repliesSCAMMM, they'll offer you a job and ask for 100 for training. Then you will never get called again, they will take your money and never give you a job.
- Caller: Mr. Greene
- Jeff replies to LillyThanks Lilly. I almost went to this interview and then got suspicious, googled the number and saw your post. Thanks again
- mzsweetpea| 1 replyThey called me today, and the voice sounded kind of like a recording. I turned it down, i had that feeling it was a scam.
- Michael| 1 replyGot a call from this phone number today after I responded to a craigslist job ad. http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/ofc/3325160650.html
This person by the name of "miss kim" whose first language was definitely not english said i'll go in for an interview and i'll need to bring $100 for training. FIRST FLAG RAISED
Tried googling the company name stated on the ad and nothing came up. SECOND FLAG RAISED
Googled the address (244 west 38th street, between 7th and 8th avenue. 9th floor.) that "miss kim" provided after i requested her to email me the location for "training" after receiving her email which was under the name "robert banner" and some gmail email address "jobsimm22@gmail.com". The email also specifically stated to not reply back. No mentioning of "Brent Accounting and Associates LLC" appeared. THIRD FLAG RAISED
Googled phone number 646-998-3226 and came across this site and it just confirmed my initial feelings about this whole job post.
In case anyone else in the future comes across or gets contacted by this phone number, THIS IS A SCAM!! - angelsThank you Lily, Jeff, Micheal, and mzsweetpea.I also got an email with the head Joe Blow, Email stated to call Ms.Kim. Never did it because of the heading and read this. Thanks, we have to post to let others know of scams being done. All the address on west 34th to 38th street are usually security guard companies.
- ElonThanks everyone! I also received a message from this "employer" to schedule an interview. I will most certainly NOT follow up.

BEWARE - Peter B| 2 repliesTotally a Fake.
Mr. Roserio is willing to pay $14.00 per hour during the day and $16.00 at night. The so called job is located at a corporate building on w38th Street --- etc....but you must pay to be trained...$100.00 -- I told them they can take it out of my first paycheck -- that did not go over well. I asked for their incorporation papers --- proof of being in business etc....said I could not have it.
Also....their were kids screaming in the background and a bird making alot of noise.
Hung Up --- on him.- Caller: 646 - 998-3226
- NatalieI just received a call from this number today. They left a voicemail. This person's name this time was Mr. Davis and asked me to return the call if I am still interested in the job. http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/lab/3636015345.html- this was the job i responded to. I became a little suspicious when they didnt mention what company he was from and also did not give his full name. Googled the number and saw this site. Will definitely not be returning the call since it seems to be a scam!
- MichelleYep, I had all the same things happen.
First it was an Indian woman named Mrs. Abraham. She told me about a reception job that sounded amazing. Then she said "we'll need $80 up front for a criminal check." Right there I was like oh boy. Wait a minute.
She'd also mentioned that there would be 3 days of training and when I asked - she said it was UNPAID.
I asked her where they placed people and she said hotels, hospitals, etc. When I asked for specific names she said she couldnt offer that. Yeah, right.
Then I said I'd need to do some research online about the company (SF of America). I havent even google this - I'm sure nothing comes up.
When I got off the phone I asked for her name again. She said, "Mrs. Abraham." I said, "no I mean your first name." And she said "I cant give you that."
Its really too bad that there are people like this taking advantage of people while we are in a tough economy. So many people looking for work....be careful out there.- Caller: SF of America
- LanaThanks, I was about to go to this interview tomorrow! "Miss Abraham" asked for $80 for training as well as to bring my social security card for my verification. It was for a receptionist job but when I tried googling the address "247 West 38th Street between 7th and 8th Ave. 9th floor" in association with my previous applications, they didn't match. Definitely a scam.
- ElisabetSome one call me today and said that they where offering a job as receptionist ,$18 hour ,in "247 West 38th Street between 7th and 8th Ave.,9th floor. To bring $80 for registration ,and to ask for Miss Abraham .Now i see that is a scam .
- Anna replies to Peter BGot a call from Mr. Rosario also this week-cancelled the appt - thank god I read googled it!!!!!
- SnoopJust got a called. The guy Mr. Rosario seemed Robotic. I don't know I just had a bad feeling so I checked and found this!
- Rebecca| 1 replyGot a phone call yesterday from a mr Rosario offering a receptionist position paying 14 during day and 16 at night. Also I would have to have three days training and pay 40$ for it, very shortly after this call I received another call from a lady from the same company, she told me it would be $100 for the training. After this I was confused an decided to look up this "company" and then I saw all of your helpful posts. I will most certainly not be going. NO ONE should go to this company they will probably take your money and steal your identity.
- reneeI got a call from mr rosario for event staffing. He told me to bring forty dollars I almost felt for it until I decided to google the address and realized a similar situation happened to me about a year ago when I responded to an ad for a security officer position. This is so sad. People are genuinely trying to find work its hard enough without people trying to take the little money you do have left. They need to be stopped seriously.
- shanayah| 1 replyJust called them back saw the post on craigslist she said her name was miss jones and to bring $100 just in case the interview goes well so I could start training immediately. I felt suspicious that she asked for that money because you aren't supposed to pay for employment. Glad I googled the address she gave me. Not getting my hard earned money!
- Ivanajust got a call from a miss jones she said to bring in my ss resues & 100 dollars just in case I qualified I knew something was funny. googled the address the building is a store. glad I didn't fall for it !! Huge SCAM

- VHello guys,I got a call from 646-998-3226,she said her name is Michelle.I said I have no work authorization, and she said when I'll have to call her back, she told me the same story with 100 $ for training.Later the same day i got a call from 212-913-9760 from a guy Mr.Ryan.It was the same offer, and I thought wow,it was 2 posts on craigslist, that's why I got the second answer. We set up an interview, and the guy said he can see what he can do about cash job.It was a noise that I could not hear him.I googled that number but it didn't came up nothing. And i googled the number with 646 and I found this,I tried to call the guy back to cancel the interview but it transfered me to some types of companies,to voicemail and all this stuff.
