This number is from Reliance Home & Lawn.

It is a telemarketing type call, trying to sell home and lawn care products and/or services.  

The gentleman too was also with a thick heavy accent, that appeared to be of indian descent.  I had to verify the name of the company 3 times before I had a good grasp of what he was saying.  Would suspect that the calls are being conducted / re-routed to an offshore firm.

I received a call from this number yesterday evening.  It was also a man with an indian accent and he knew my last name.  He said he was calling from a security company....but I cannot remember the name.  He wanted to come over to my house right away (as in yesterday evening) to do a demonstration on the free things we can get installed.  It actually creeped me out quite a bit, it was as if he was standing outside my house just waiting for me to let him in.

Got a call from this company(???) and couldn't understand the thick indian accent as well.  He said he was calling from a "monitering centre" and when questioned further he hung up.  I called back to get more information about who had just called and how they knew my name (considering my # is on a national do not call list) and they hung up again.  20 min. later I received a long distance, blocked call, from a different indian man yelling at me telling me that I was "harrassing" the person who made the initial call and that they were going to come by my house (they knew my address too!) and I had to pay them fifty dollars!!!!

That phone number 647-258-5427 called me and verified who I was... then hung up.     I called them back and they advised that they are a security systems company and that they were soliciting for customers.      He was indian...   but was very polite and explained his services.    The call ended very nice.    This is an unusual way to create their customer list, but... he wasn't harrassing.

I am getting very tire of these computer calls and nobody anwsers when you say some thing they call right up to 10 and 11 at night if i get one more of these damn calls i am going to hunt down the address and go there and smash the f*cking thing

I just had the Slippery Gypsy Call me too... this is the second time this week. Once he was Rogers, the next time he was Reliance, and then he changed mid call to security. I have a feeling they want to find if you are in...and what security you have and rob you. I have filed this number with the Police.

There is a real security company called Reliance Protectron. (800 811 1818)

They do NOT do lawn care and they do NOT use telemarketers.

Calls from 647-258-5427 are a total scam.

Just got a call from this number. Called at 6:25 I didn't answer, called again at 6:30... asked for my husband, stated there was no one here by that name (my standard reply) and then asked for the homeowner. I stated I wasn't interested in anything he had to sell me, he thanked me and hung up.

We have had this number on our phone for the last week, and it did creep me out he knew our name. When I tried to call the number back it said that number couldn't be reached.

I get a call from this number on a daily basis but knowone is ever on the other end. Please make it stop!!!

Also received a call from this number, the guy talked to my answering machine thinking it was a real person. So I called back and hung up just get him to call me again and listen to him talk like my answering machine a person. I did that several times and got bored!

Just bug these people back and they will go away, it's funny if nothing more to do.

I would like to say that this person is not a nice person he calls my home everynight at least three times around dinner time and he has an indian accent and he says he is from reliance security. Trying to sell me in home security. This is becoming very annoying to me and he had said to me that if i hung up on him he would keep calling tell i answered.  He is one typical a--hole and jerk.

Caller identified himself as from 'Reliant Home Security Systems'.

I got a call from this company mid afternoon. When I answered there was no one there for a good 10 seconds. Then heard some faint sounds and the caller hung up. I called the number back, got an answer and as he was saying his sales pitch, I told him he had to speak louder and more clearly as I was really mumbled. He called me right back. He knows hubby's and my full name, full address and phone number. He even told me that I already had an alarm system on my house, which I don't. He said he was from Reliant Home Security Alarms and wanted to come by to install new equipment even if my husband wasn't here. He had a very strong Indian accent and identified himself as 'Micheal'. When I questioned about how he obtained my information, then I really couldn't understand him as he got really nervous. He said I could speak to a manager or supervisor so I said 'sounds great, put him on'. After about 30 seconds another Indian speaking man came to the phone and identified himself as 'Jamie'. He told me that my personal information was bought from other alarm companies and that my number was not on the Do Not Call list. I told him our number is unlisted and has been on the list since Oct of 2009. I told him to remove our information and to never call again.

I've had similar incidents with an apparent local duct cleaning service. They have harassed us so much that we finally filed a complaint with the fraud unit.

The caller didn't identify himself. There was no accent. He said he was coming over to check my water heater-no charge. I asked who was calling and  he said summit energy and that I needed to have the water heater checked to maintain the coverage. He was very aggressive and cleary misleading. I told him  would arrange to get my heater checked when it suited me and hung up. I am concerned that a lot of people could easily be taken in by this call.

just got a call form this and another number the man had an indian accent when I explained I wasn't interested and hung up he called back and asked me y I hung up and continued to harrass me about hanging up on him. He was selling security systems.

Have received calls from this number since August 2011.  Very rude, Indian accent...but sometimes it's a chinese accent.  Claims from Reliance Security.  Has my husbands' name and our address.  Always want to know if we have an alarm.  Repeated requests to put us on their DNC list don't work.  Calls are several times a week, sometimes daily.
